A lot of people talk about how they would totally survive a zombie outbreak, so now's your chance to get an idea of how well you'd do: are you a zombie hunter or a walking steak?

There are 52 questions, each with an answer and explanation at the end of the quiz, as well as a comprehensive breakdown of your stats, ranging from physical condition to emotional state.

Hope you all enjoy and that there aren't too many typos. :P

Thanks everyone for the praise and criticism! I appreciate that you're enjoying yourself with my little quiz and that your analytical eyes aren't rusty.
My first award! Daily Second Place! Thanks everybody!

I fixed the preloader...not sure why I didn't do it earlier...

On a more distressing note, I'd like to formally say that I do not want this flash game to be hosted on any site other than without my permission, please. Thank you.

Development on v2 of Zombie Survival Quiz is underway. The things I'm planning on adding/improving will blow this one out of the water.

A few of the gripes people had======================

"X" is wrong or dumb.
I can't discuss every little problem you may have had, but I can ask you to read the explanation's if you haven't already. Stop sending me messages please.

Your model of a zombie is wrong.
I chose a specific zombie "lore" that seemed most logical to me and had a broad and reasonably accurate base of fiction and information sources (such as The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z). If I tried to cover all the bases, I'd end up with a 500 question quiz that is wishy-washy between different "styles" of zombies, making it very confusing and muddled.

Very detailed

I like this and always looked forward to the second quiz, but some questions are not thought out as I thought you would see.
Question 35, I agree, knocking is best, but if there is a survivor with a gun on the other side, she\he might get startled and shoot at the door. You never know, but that is very possible.

Question 39, should have more answers, and I think they are all bad answers, schools are heavily populated and zombies could easily clime gates and or fences, depending on what kind of structure, chain-links are most common, but straight polls with pointed tips would be better although making escape close to impossible unless a gate is secure. Schools are very large and would take a large group to defend. Theres more escape routes witch means more entry's, also bad if theres only a handful of survivors. also depending on the school... children schools are very open, and if there are survivors kids would most likely slow you down and thats all, High-schools are full of head-strong stupid arrogant teenagers, if there are survivors, they would most likey be hard to deal with, but high schools are more out-fitted and safe, still, heavily populated. Adult schools, any survivor would be smarter, easier to cope with and useful but some are very old and rendered useless, they are also very open, maybe with no fences at all. Collages are asking for trouble if you want to seal-off, largest of all schools, but smartest people I would believe, they should only be there for recruiting survivors, not defending... unless you have an army...
I would rather fortify my house if I only had myself and a few people, If there was a large group of us, I would fortify a culdesac close to town and make it a fortress. not only is there supplies, but veracious tools to use and the front of houses and turn into make-shift gates and walls, houses could become towers, and houses to choose as a last resort hold. Most culdesacs are fenced off with wooden fences, there impossible to clime sturdy only if maintained, concrete walls are even more common are are much, much better. There is sometimes only one way out and in, witch in cases can be good and bad. Bottle-necking is my preferred choice in defense, not to forget you can make barricades and a gate, it is very easy to defend a culdesac with a large or even a small amount of people I would think. and soon make plans to move to a safer area, maybe high-jack some copters and planes, or plan to move to a military base, gain some experienced peoples and move out into a rural area and begin to make a society and carry out missions into larger territory. try to make contact with the other side of the world.

In real life, Viruses can be cured. A cure would be made eventually in time. And it is close to impossible that the whole world would be infected. Zombies need food, they are still human-beings, they still need what a human needs with a few exceptions and the virus would die in time, humanity will live, even without a cure. just think of a common cold, you are still a human, the cold is a virus, it will go away or kill you, and you still need things to live, like food and water.

Also if you think about it, a "zombie"-I would like to call just a sick person, which is exactly what a "zombie" is- is still a human being like I said before, only what you see in movies is well... fault, it could be true, but if there was a virus that made humans crazed people, and wanted to spread it's self in a violent manner, like a "zombie" you would know, it's able to run, it's able to speak but why would it want to, if all it wants is too spread? I say "it" because the truth in the virus is it's self, and humans only act like puppets. Viruses evolve over time, so would the puppet, the virus would learn, if the hosts are too week, the virus would simply make the host stronger, via any category along with strength.

I snuggest you brush up on a actual real threat if a virus came, if you are grading people. Not what you see in video games and movies.

secv responds:

I think you're taking this too seriously.

The Beetus has spoken

Very accurate and very well made. I like how answers are provided at the end of the quiz. It's a good way to prepare for a zombie apocolypse, which would be even worse than Diabeetus!

Wicked cool, but one thing...

Question 47: During an emergency, which could you treat?
I said none of these because I thought you were talking about a zombie doing these damages. :\ Oh well.
