I smell potential

Well, I'm not too sure about this one. I think that the dialog made it a little boring which it didn't have to be, and I think you have to make the animation better flowing, especially if you're planning on making a sequel. Yet, I do think this has a lot of potential.

I reccomend that you watch some similiar retro adventure flashes such as 'Sonic's Adventure' series and the 'Z' Mario Bro.s series on Newgrounds, incase you haven't watched them. They will be good as inspiration of what you could achieve, however these one's are the cream of the crop and are very complicated, so don't feel that you have to live up to that.

But, I think the idea is fresh, and there is a lot of potential. Just next time try and get some sound effects and perhaps better dialog sections rather than the speech bubbles.

Hehe, that movie make me remember the oldest times of my childhood, when I was playing this game.

The history isn't very interesant... And the color taht you use in words don't make a useful constrast.
