We decided to make a noob tutorial on how to use FL Studio. Has all the stuff which we learned the hard way..

I hope this gets on the series tutorials....

ALSO I TRIED TO MAKE THE VIDEO SIZE SMALL AS POSSIBLE! IT WOULDVE BEEN AROUND 20 MEGABYTES!! I MADE IT 5 MB BY SCALLING DOWN, MAKING IT WORSE QUALITY WHICH ISNT EVEN THAT BAD, AND ZOOM PAN.

EDIT: i expected people being reall dicks and blamming this but now im going to make a lot better tutorial :D

"Not speaking loud enough"

When you speak I can't understand what you're saying because you don't speak loud enough. The piano is just alright, but I can't understand what you're saying.

Your presentation quality and voice over was mediocre and you would need to work on it in your next one. However I did like the tutorial and you made me want to go try it out. Make a more involved one next time.
I loved the part when you were in bass. "Wtf was that?"

"LMAO"

Wow, that gave me a good laugh. It was so bad it was great. You kept saying BASS instead of BASE LOLOLOLOLOL. BASS is a fucking fish lmao. The tutorial was at least somewhat knowledgable until you started mistaking low sound vibrations with fish.

its pretty ok, just speak up a little, b/c I had to turn my volume up to hear you, and when the music played, it was way loud. good overall tho

"Great Tutorial!"

This is a decent tutorial for those trying to break into the Audio Grounds business. Obviously, being that it's a video, it's file size will make most wannabe musicians avoid this one, but they are truly missing out.

Although I said that being a video did hurt this a little, it doesn't hurt it much. The real advantage is that you can pause and rewind the flash to catch something, without having to go to the beginning and trek all the way through again.

Another thing that bugged me was the sound; for a music tutorial, it was pretty quiet. I had to crank up my speakers to hear your voice, but when I did, you would hit play and blow both my speakers and ears out with the loud music.

But I think the thing that really detracts from this video is that you didn't seem too prepared to do it. You spent some time trying to find the right note, and were experimenting with the song through out the video. Had you gone into Fruity Loops before and practiced what you were going to do, this video would have been a little shorter, a little smaller and a little better.

All in all, it was a good tutorial for those new to program. I just wish that the video for the tutorial could have been better.

i found this really bad.. but that's because i hate techno, and that kind of noise... and this is a tutorial on making that kind of "music".. but i guess that for the people that enjoy the kind of music made in the tutorial, it really is a good tutorial...

still this just shows the world how techno, electronica and all that stuff, really just is random noise that sounds "good" is put together randomly and then realeased into the world that really would be a happier place without it...

at least you tried.

key issues:
low voice volume
started lagging my computer (no clue why, never happens ever)
didnt really teach anything, was just you placing things, and complaining about it for a while

really, i would suggest you plan out what is gonna happen before you do it.

also, i have been wanting to do a fl tutorial lately, but havent got the time to do it with all the other crap i have in my list before it, but when i do, i wanna start up a fl tut collab, and create flash drawing versions of all the parts of fl studio, so the filesize would be reduced drastically, and so it would be easier to see/controll everything

and then sounds and voices would be added later, what do you think?

only problem is i dont know anyone else who knows how to use fl studio, heck, i dont even know if im doing it right.

but when you do get another tutorial out, let me know, cause it can only get better
