UPDATE: Waiting for approval for the name to be changed to DevilSlayer V. Why? Because it's completely cannon to the rest of the series and the name "Nightgun" was unnecessary here, especially when next month's Nightgun movie will be completely inconsistent with the story here. Capiche?

the beginning was pretty cool but then what was with the gay black guy

On a great 90's sketch comedy show called 'In Living Color' (Many great comedy actors like Jim Carey and a few of the Wyans brothers started on there), Damon Wayans and David Allen Grier used to do this skit called 'Men on Films' where they played two gay dudes supposedly reviewing popular movies for the male community. I based the gay reporter on Damon Wayans' character, who I found hilarious as a kid. I know you probably won't read this, but thanks for asking.

Nice

It was good, I liked the action, and it was funny. Though I didn't like the voices and they didn't intertwine with the mouth movements. It was also kind of short =/.
