Don't Escape
I'm a werewolf and it's a full moon. I have to find a way to prevent myself from escaping.

Did you play Ragnarok Online? Do you like that game?
3.53 / 5.00 12,727 ViewsI thought to myself one day about throwing a quick and fun arcade shooter with very little to explain, and much to enjoy. Inspired by Counter-strike, Gears of War, and I am Legend, I present to you, Marksmen. Special thanks to all who contributed!

bad glitch
had fun with it, but some bugs, one pretty much killed me, i think it was the final boss, big blob with a cannon, when it got around 20 feet or so away, it glitched, my view was now as if i was throw off the plane, the animated scene was small in the distance, and white all around it, and the monster disappeared, but was still there cause damage was increasing rapidly till i died. one hell of a bug, needs to be looked at. look forward to seeing more though

Good, but don't stop here
An impressive engine, but there are flaws. For one thing, forget zombies with guns. Enemies in a zombie game enemies should be more like the Berserker, where they bear down on you and must be killed before they get into close quarters. The sequences of the game feel slow and dull, because you can always mop up all the opposition easily with the sniper rifle and then plod to the end of the section. Plus, the enemy gun sound effect is the same no matter where they're positioned or how far away they are, so it perpetually feels as though a zombie is firing on you from the near left, when your rifle scope reveals them to be several miles down the road to your right.
I also ran into a few bugs...after killing the minigun zombie I simply stopped taking damage, and the zoom of the sniper scope began screwing up my regular view until I was playing the whole game on x4 magnification by the final boss (he's pretty damn ugly that close up). Lastly, at the zombie sniper battle, I took out two or three of the snipers and then could not see the next one. I was looking straight at him on my radar and he just wasn't there. In the end I just ignored him and walked to the end of the section.
With some debugging, this could be great.
