I thought this game was great. took me ages to figure out how to save the dudes and i didn't mind messing up along the way (fnar fnar and gleefull giggle) The graphics were really good and I liked some of the effects like the smoke and stuff. I'm curious as to how they got them to work. certainly looks like a pretty graphically superior game to most flash games. I do think the game should have been longer so as to figure out why the guy was trapped in the room at the end but whatever it was fun for an hour or so. And I'm surprised that so many people who "hated" this game played it so many times. suckers. :) I'm giving it an extra star to make up for all the sad frackers who dissed the game because they couldn't finish it.
"Yeah it was dumb"
I was determined to finish just to see what would happen to them. So heres the walkthrough for saw IV game in this order 1. fire in room B ( i guess because the guy kills himself trying to get the lights on) 2. lights room A (i dont really know why) 3. wrench in room A (to release the water) 4. hose in room B (jigsaw said to make him breath but that doesnt make sense to me) 5. hammer in room A (break glass) 6. Key in room B (open door) then choppy cutscene. There isnt any glitches, you just have to do it in the right order.
"Could have been a lot better"
This game is all graphics, and even then it's hard to see what's really going on. For a trial and error game it's not very good as you can't pick up items that don't do anything meaning you have to keep hitting quit and trying again, which completely destroys the pace.
This game would have been a lot better if you had a situation more like the film; a longer time-limit (more gameplay = good) and maybe a series of circumstances with options on what to do which have some further purpose. In the film each puzzle is really a clue to the whole, which I found to be a really good aspect. Such a game would have been a lot more interesting and fun.
