Attention Macross / Robotech fans, this animations storyline is an alternative version of the original.

Finally got around to updating these old comment things. On some of them I was talking about an old robotech game that I shut down a log time ago.

Let's hope Shoji Kawamori doesn't see this...

And as I sat there, watching the horrible bitmap trace which I assumed was a Variable fighter, I was beginning to have my doubts about the quality of this movie. My doubts were all but affirmed when the first radial gradient explosion occurred. I could only hope that the circular uh.. “missile” would fly through the screen and crash my Flash player. Alas, it didn’t, and the movie continued. Then came the next bitmap trace of doom! A carrier of some sort. The mesh of colors made the object seem remotely believable, as the various motion tweens lead me into a shaded box with rectangles on the sides. But what’s this? One of the rectangles had WRITING ON IT! I panicked, the only thing worse than a bitmap traced spaceship was a bitmap traced person! But, before I could close the browser, I saw that whoever was sitting in the chair wasn’t a bitmap tracing! I’m not exactly sure what she was doing, but it sure looked like she was snorting coke. That would explain the green, Kamikaze candy corn that plowed through the hull. The Zentraedi become agitated when micronians steal their cocaine. I wonder why the green wedge didn’t explode when it struck the outer hull of the ship. I guess Zent candy corn is pretty tough. Well, at least the poor pilot didn’t have to suffer the humiliation of flying that horrible abomination of a star-fighter much longer. But the confusion didn’t end there! The mesh of gray tones attacked what looked like a giant dill pickle, cutting it with a beam originating from… uh… I don’t know, I guess there were starboard cannons somewhere. Fortunately, that fighter pilot (Whom I could tell was a vector tracing of a screen shot.) was able to valiantly smash his fighter into the murderous cucumber with a brilliant radial gradient explosion! I take it he REALLY doesn’t like pickles. I do wonder why his ship, which was much larger and more durable than the flying green candy corn, didn’t breach the hull and explode at the phallic pickle’s core. I guess I don’t understand because I didn’t see the first 5 episodes, which is probably a good thing. What intrigued me the most was the scene where the Veritech attacks with its vicious lensflare! That Candy Corn didn’t stand a chance! But hey, the HUD screen was pretty cool, and the sound was all right… The lasers sounded like lasers and the explosion like explosions. Overall, if you have no idea how to draw, or use flash, than this might seem like the best thing since sliced bread and toilet paper. Otherwise, this was pretty bad. Fortunately, people will only be exposed to it for 4 more episodes…

I love Macross Series =)

Wee I was in the credits list. Thanx man =) I love what you've done with the graphics now. So far, you've made like a Movie with all the episodes together - and this is the middle bit with all the shooting =) Waiting for your next episode, I know it will r0x0rs j0x0rs

wow i was in the credits

that looked great. very good graphics and sound and the character designs were alot bad your only making 4 more but i guess that is a smart move considering the short attention span of most NG users. well i look foward to the next one.

Why was the other one called final if there's a serie of 10? Anyhow, this was really short, almost too short. You said that some peep were getting bored, well I guess the main reason is that they don't know what's happening. So I suggest you make a preface flash, to tell all the story from the beginning. "Robotech-Intro" would give back the interest to everyone cause they'll know what caused what and who's who. You should really take this in consideration before making another flash if you want to keep high votes. Oh, by the way the green ships looked a little cheap while the grey ones were excellent.

getting better!

the use of all 3d is really making a much cooler and more consistent look for the movie. still, i find very little story development here, especially since the music provides little excitement and there is no dialogue. just a thought. oh, and your spelling's gotten much better too!
