Hello! With my recent submission, LoZ:TheQuestOfNoSignifica nce, I realized that I really liked making crappy RPGs about LoZ. So here it is:
LoZ: A Link To The Future!
The storyline is as follows: Newgrounds has taken over the internet. Due to the (ah-hem) "recent" loss of internet connectivity to RSS feeds on LoZ subjects, residents of Hycool are forced to rely on the latest news the can get their hands on (a.k.a. Oh No! The kid dude stole Majora's Mask! last updated 12/11/99). No one knows where Zelda is, or indeed, if she is gone at all. All they know is that there's a fat lunatic occupying her castle.
This LoZ game won't be as crappy as LoZ:TheQuestOfNoSignifica nce was. This time, you must collect 3 golden keys to gain access to Zelda's castle, and, in turn, Zelda. Also, I added a makeshift battle system ported from one of my other games, MojoPG. If you've played that and this, you will see the sameness :). And, there are actually shops around town. Thanks to.... I foget his cname, but he posted in my thread on the forums entitled Help with hitTest? I now have a better (for development) way to make walls. The downside is that sometimes, you get stuck in walls :(. To get out, just press the button in the opposite direction. It works.... most of the time...

"A few glitches I might need to mention..."

rupees are always there if you stand on one and press up and down at the same tome repeatedley you can get A LOT of rupees. I got the first key within 2 minutes (if that). enemies are the same. my MP or HP never went down. the music cut in and out. And i was walking and spontaneousley died. If you work on the glitches and fix the fighting sequences it may become a good game.

"Good idea"

But i noticed a few flaws. i had to keep tapping the arrows to move anywhere. The fight sezuence sucks, i can't tell whats happening. When i tried to buy hte mario song it said i didn't have enough money, then it would start playing at random moments. I couldn't pick up that blue rupee thats by the start.....sorry if i was too critical......but it needs work. After a few tweaks this will be a great game.

Author's Response:

Tapping shouldn't be necessary.
