Isora 2

I present to you Isora 2, the sequel to my most popular game of 2007 and a challenging isometric puzzle game based on the gameboy classic "Pyramids of Ra".

The game has 60 levels, new types of tiles, greatly improved graphics as well as tons of other features such as autosave and online highscores.

If you liked the original Isora, you will love this one. It took quite a long time to make and I'm very proud of it.

Music by Flashburn, Khuskan and No1r.

How complicated!

It was cool to play this game because there was so much going for it as a puzzle game. I can't believe that the winner of Daily 2nd place has less than 5,000 views! Anyway, this was great to play because it was quite difficult but had a very simplistic design. I also loved the choices of music. They sent out a real sense of wonder and adventure and you rarely see (hear?) that in a puzzle game. I am also fairly good, brisking through the first three levels.

It was great to see how each new level became more detailed and complicated. It just goes to show that you do not need elaborate effects to make something cool. It could have had more detail, but it did really not need it. At least you managed to get some recognition for it. It's hard in how you have to start back to exactly where you started.

Very Cool Game

I like games like these, but I agree with crazycatlady327 the keys were a bit difficult.

good job

I love these types of games although it made it a little hard to get the controls down because you are using horizontal and vertical buttons to move diagnolly. it got kind of annoying.

Addictive and fun, unsure about originality!

Nice idea, a 2D game which looks nicer because of the clever use of isometric.

Not an original tune however, but a fairly good remix of an old Mike Oldfield track. It would've been rated more for an original soundtrack!

Perfect update for the old game

I liked the original but this one is even better. You achieved what you wanted and I enjoyed playing this new version.
The only thing i always complain is the keys you used. You see the game is isometric so why not use keys that fit more properly the game???
You can use 7931 on the numeric keyboard and qwsa on the alphanumeric (or any other combination). Well that's just my only suggestion right now, the highscore thing with no hackers here! is nice too, hate when players modify cookies to get high scores.
