it looks nice, kudos on the art, but it's pretty clunky and boring. the controls seemed pretty sluggish and i think this would be better with a health bar, instead of just 3 hits.

Serously, no matter how you decorate this game, it's only hiding that it's just a hit and hide game. I like how you started to spruce it up a bit by putting in dash attacks, but it's not enough. Neverless, because the art was good I gave it a 5. But here I'll only give you a 7.

I haff challenge for you: Re-invent hack-n-slash, experiment with different controlls. The attack,block,jump thing is just old and it doesn't work. I can't attack them because their-almost-on-top-of-me kind of stuff is what I get from this. It might be more work, but if your serious about this, re-think the controls. Don't make it a copycat job.
