Known bug: Sometimes the game freezes, especially when climbing the vine. You can unfreeze the game by pressing Space in most cases. Hope that helps!

NOTE: Yes the game actually ends in the castle, Sorry!
This is only a demo (which just shows my inability to finish projects)..
Again, this game is rather old. Last update (expect for this little one) was on 6th Augst 2006..

This is the sequel to the first game: Monoliths Mario World with more enemies, bigger worlds and more items!

Controlls:
Use the arrow-keys to move
[S] (keep pressed) to run/jump higher
[A] to jump
[Space] to pause the game/show the map

nice

screen is samll and movment is slow but overall a good game that shows more skill then most, let me know if you do more or need ideas.

Great Game, But...

There ARE still some things that need to be resolved...

1: When you die, if you pause, then it will stick on-screen, I tested to see how far I could drag it on, and it slowly but surely got darker and darker, until it went completely black

2: the part where you need the red blocks to get up in level 1, you can stil get up there with enough effort...

3: Infinite lives? Well the concept was good in Jak and Daxter, because the whole game over concept would make it too hard, and it made it more logical, in the way that you don't DIE from losing a whack-a-mole game, it was a very good idea, but it's not like this game is THAT hard anyway, AND there is level select, which makes this even easier.

But you probably did that in MSMW 3, but if you didn't, then you should look into that... With the pause-glitch (#1) I recommend, of course, taking away the pause menu, like putting some AS into the clip to say something like:

if(_root.mario.hitTest(_root.enemyGoo mba.side)){
_root.pausemnu.unloadMovieClip()
}
}
or something along those lines

(yeah the pause glitch can easily be a problem, cause if I die but pause before I know it, and am not able to react fast enough to unpause, then I get stuck with it)

as a flash user and game designer, obviously you know that that's saying, hey, when (if) mario hits goombas side (_root.enemyGoomba.side), I want you to remove (unload) the pause menu (_root.pausemnu)

I hope that helps, if not (which is very unlikely), then you still should find ways to fix the little bugs

But overall this is a great demo, you should make it full

Damn contorls...

It's a okay game, fun and all... but the contorls are a pain.
It makes Mario run backwards and kill himself.

It was a good game, but the controls were screwing with me a lot, kept forcing me to run backwards, killed me like 6 times lol.
