Zombies. You've shot them, stabbed them, sliced and diced them. Today I put you in the shoes of a Zombie. Fight for your life in this crazy and twisted world.

UDPATE (NOW LIVE!) Game has been patched according to user suggestions:

- Battles now run significantly faster.
- Block can only be used twice on your bar, but the cool down has been decreased.
- Paladin's Shield now has a much longer cool down.
- Rock Golems can no longer use Suppression. Health decreased, damage increased.
- Blade Shaman's heals now have a larger cool down, and he can no longer regen focus.
- All the audio is now in sync with the subtitles.
- You can now Re-Spec 5 times a day instead of once.
- Veradux's "Re-Energize" ability now only applies a buff that restores 10 focus per turn, so when he casts it on a target with full focus, you still get 90% of the benefit.

Noted Criticism (But will not be updated for Sonny):

Super Final Thought: So many reviews are coming in now! I can't get around to answering everything like I used to be able to... I still read and note ALL reviews and criticism though, but if you want to hear answers from me directly best ask me in the forum where I can answer to batches of people at once, and other people can answer your questions too.

excellent!

Krinn, what a game. complete in terms of classes, abilities, strategy, this one puts all other flash rpgs that I've played to shame, and most non-flash ones as well!

some tweaks to make:
1. when a unit has two stuns, the animation shows him standing up, even when it should still have the stun image (he still passes the turn).
2. the last bosses take WAY too long. :) I understand that they are supposed to be difficult, and may not have been tested for balancing. I spent between 30 minutes and an hour killing the final boss, since I could rarely hit him with my guardian (low speed, heh), and I had to spend 5/8 rounds buffing myself, shielding, and basically doing everything I could to survive. I can't imagine being able to beat him with a different class though, since you have to have a minimum of 1.7k hp just to survive his frost crits IF you have suppression and subversion. if you have neither, you're basically toast, as you may have intended. =D

anyway, for the next chapter, make the fights have more tricks to them (the subversion on the 1 million hit point boss for the kill was classic, I yelped after I killed him!) and a good bit less length.

not sure if this was intentional, but the items you get in stage/world 4 are pretty insane in terms of power. with only one character decked out (my guardian), I was kickin the scaled training mobs around easily, and with both the guardian and the rogue-type (sorry, I forget the name of the class, but the one dependent on speed) fully maxed, it was a joke.

though in retrospect, it was only with those items that I had a chance of beating the boss...

in any case, I wanted to commend you on making a fantastic rpg. the battle and boss musics are EXCELLENT! I was whistling along even after an hour of the same fight, the music was just that good. I would suggest different tunes for each stage of the game while you aren't in combat, and one track specifically for the last boss (remember ff7? think sephiroth's tune).

I would like to say that I felt the AI to be fine, though if occasionally a little uncoordinated, not horrible. I never lost a battle because of the AI; at worst, I might have been a few extra turns in completing a fight. if you DO allow us to control the NPCs in our party (which would make the fighters EXTREMELY powerful since we could chain stun and focus fire and focus heal all rather easily) then I would recommend taking out the time limit on turns... it was rather fast for just one character, almost to the point where you had to know what you were going to push before you did it.

maybe that was the idea? hehe.

9/10 is essentially perfect for me, a 10/10 would be something I would pay for. this is so close, it hurts, so I'll just add 9.5/10. thanks for making a great game, and please continue on the project in the future!

don't forget to let us upgrade the medic's armor in the next chapter! =D

Heya!

Thanks for dropping a monster review, they are always fun to read :D

I know what you mean with the last boss taking ages, it is because the last zone was kinda rushed, so it's a little poorly designed, I'll admit. You don't always need to survive Sinjid's Mana Bomb though, you can actually counter it by draining his mana :D He needs 100 mana to use it so one drain will pretty much stop it.

I'd love to include more music but you'll have to ask the NG admins to raise the 10MB filesize limit :D Even with the tracks we have, we're already pushing at 9.4MB! (It was 9.9 before, but I optimized it a little).

But yes, the idea of the time limit is to put pressure... It's the thing that will make you make mistakes. In the future I'll make it so you can control your whole team, but you have to be fast. 3 sets of abilities, cooldowns, stats, etc to manage all within a few second, you're really gonna to think on your feet :D

But again thanks for the review! I promise to raise your 'score' to 10/10 with our next RPG :D

YEAH!!!!!!!!!

Great game. It starts like any other game hard then easy then hard again. I have yet to finish it just starting a game with all of the character types. Make a second. :D

great game..

It was a great game but i have a few suggestions....
First, I think you should leave the blue ring the same the entire game instead of switching it in the 4th area.
Second, I think you should offer different skills for each class... not just the same for them all with a few exceptions with the ones required to beat the last bonus bosses(like disruption and subversion)... although maybe change the name for each class.
Third and finally, a better AI xD it was really irritating to have the healer continue attacking (and using attacks that were pointless for the situation or in a few cases use break after i used it btw) when i was stunned and dying or unable to heal myself.
All in all a really great game. I can't wait for the sequel.
