Dear Human,

Zombies. You've shot them, stabbed them, sliced and diced them. Today I put you in the shoes of a Zombie. Fight for your life in this crazy and twisted world.

After two solid months of production, we present to you this epic interactive tale of Sonny. I hope you like it!

UDPATE (NOW LIVE!) Game has been patched according to user suggestions:

- Battles now run significantly faster.
- Block can only be used twice on your bar, but the cool down has been decreased.
- Paladin's Shield now has a much longer cool down.
- Rock Golems can no longer use Suppression. Health decreased, damage increased.
- Blade Shaman's heals now have a larger cool down, and he can no longer regen focus.
- All the audio is now in sync with the subtitles.
- You can now Re-Spec 5 times a day instead of once.
- Veradux's "Re-Energize" ability now only applies a buff that restores 10 focus per turn, so when he casts it on a target with full focus, you still get 90% of the benefit.

Noted Criticism (But will not be updated for Sonny):

Super Final Thought: So many reviews are coming in now! I can't get around to answering everything like I used to be able to... I still read and note ALL reviews and criticism though, but if you want to hear answers from me directly best ask me in the forum where I can answer to batches of people at once, and other people can answer your questions too.

great while it lasted

this is probly the best rpg i've played on newgrounds, but like most rpg's, there are a few problems.

i actually thought the AI control was interesting, not being in control of others made it a unique and dramatic game. there were no problems with AI.

stats. this is where most rpg's fall flat on their faces. there have been only a couple games where weapons are judged by strategy instead of stats. i really wanted this to be one of those games (however, i still kept some of the weapons longer than i should have cuz they look cool, good job). also, despite the spells with their semi-strategy, the game seemed the same throughout, just bigger numbers (especially the bosses after a point). i thought it was strange how you made so many abilities but made them so hard to get, i found it better and more fun just to lvl up the beginning skills naturally than to grind to get the lower ones (you did a great job with the story lvling, i hardly ever had to do practice fights other than to get dropped items). Otherwise, just try to incorporate more strategy in a 2nd game.

the only other thing that could improve this game is to make it online. the other online games on newgrounds seem to work fine for the most part, but none of them could stand as a single-player like this game.

Best Adventure Game on Newgrounds

I'd give you 20 stars if i could, good work! I wish it was a little longer, but that was incredible!

Very good

Brilliant game, the graphics were pleasant, as was the music. I must say I found this game hard to criticize, but there were a few things. Firstly some of the text was out of style, much of the text was written in a way that fitted the whole game, yet a few just didn't feel write, most prominently when you clicked on the village, "they own this joint" was not at all suitable for the atmosphere.

Other than a few oddities the game was brilliant - Bravo!

Really Good.

i have two complaints and they are the speed of it, when you've used all your skills and all your doing is attacking it can get a little bit tedious, this is also my other complaint but i think it has something to do with my first complaint, when they are poisened they kind of stand there for a few seconds and your probably thinking wow 2-3 seconds but when they keep doing it and every character on the battlefield is doing it it adds up and gets quite annoying, and also the hit numbers ( i dont exactly know what its called, the numbers that pop up when youve been attacked or attack) hang round for two long as well, like they only really need to pup up at once, and one suggestion, it would be cool if you could make the fighting like FF10 how they dont just stand there and wait for the person to get back but intercept them on they're way back and making them run around the battle field would be really cool, though i have no idea how hard that would be to make, probably really hard, and they're just thoughts and a tiny bit of critcism but apart from that i really like it, quite possibly the best voice acting ive heard. Maybe if your gonna make a Sonny 2 or something similar chuck those things in there. Best game i've played in quite a while.
