Merry Christmas, everyone. :)

And wow, my first Daily First, thank you! :D
And To Tom, many thanks for the very long frontpage spot!

This year I've made a short, 2 and a half minute long animation for you to enjoy, same style as my previous submission, SleepEasy.
In it, StrawberryClock needs to raise some funds for Clockmas events, so with Orange's help he decides to bake some cookies!
What'll happen? Well it's only a short movie, so watch and find out, I hope you enjoy it, since I busted my ass off these past few days to get this done!!

As usual, I've also made a youtube version available.

Great.

To solve the eating problem... you could have shown rupee from behind, make it look like he's eating, and keep in the eating sound. Then, it would seem like he's eating, but you wouldn't need to reveal how. t3H 3Nd

RupeeClock responds:

That's a good idea, but I think I've done enough of that sort of thing for the majority of the animation to reduce animating other things.

Did you notice how you never see the bottom of Strawberry or Orange? They're always cut off by a desk or a camera height.

"Pink frosting makes anything tast good!"

I loved the idea of the cookies and the bake sale, but... clocks really eat that way..?
...Talk about stuffing your face... Wish I had one... I wanna seizure...

RupeeClock responds:

Who knows, I didn't want to put a mouth on since clock faces do the talking.

I understand it perfectly.

The entire flash is a big metaphor of business in the food/drug companies!

StrawberryClock is a giant food-and-medicine conglomerate before the time of the FDA. OrangeClock represents the scientists working for the conglomerate, saying repeatedly that the cookies (a.k.a Food/Drug #1) are dangerous to the public, and therefore not ready for market distribution. The conglomerate ignores this, and RupeeClock, the unsuspecting public, buys it naively, despite the futile warnings of the scientists. Citizens suffer random and strange side-effects while the conglomerate takes their hard-earned cash, and repeats the process (a.k.a, the repeat button).

Excellent workmanship! I completely saw the emotion portrayed by the scientist's protests and the horrible corruption of big business! Definite 5 and 10!

RupeeClock responds:

No dude, read the description.

SBC bakes some plain old cookies to raise clockmas funds, they're not a fucking product or anything, it's a BAKE SALE.

The store in the mall is actually just rented space that SBC used his royal powers to make use of.

eh, it was pretty funny

i guess it was actually pretty good. i still can never get over how clock voices are done though for all clock movies in general, but despite that, it was a good movie. also, i gotta say, weird ending...

RupeeClock responds:

Maybe I should try real voices sometime, they can be great.
