yeah, the reason why i uploaded the demo was to show 'ninjitsuwarrior' who is programming another game of mine, what i want the game to be like. he wants to do something with wierd physics i think, but i'd rather go for the traditional side scrolling action from games like mario and alien hominid. You make a good point here and too often i play a demo that i wish i hadn't played so that the real game would be that much better. Take for instance the game "skate.". The style of the game revolutionized what Tony Hawk games made popular, but gameplay and graphics are the only real strong suits of the game. I got the demo, and thats just fine for me, but because i have the demo, i will never buy the full game. Because the gameplay is always the same. The only reason i would have for buying the full game is if i wanted more space to skate in than the small restricted space that is fenced off as the demo area.
Game demos like Bioshock, or the simpsons game are different, i haven't got them yet, but i can tell from reviews, that story is a huge part of the game, so if you get only one mission, you'll want them all so you can experience the whole thing from beginning to end. Skate is a game that is the same all the time, and so all i need is the demo...
