Updated. I uploaded a new version to the site. version 1.d now has new code that will prevent people from using the right click menu to cheat and move ahead in the game. Also included is the requested "Help" button located at the top right of your screen, This takes you to the help page on vilestrobo.com
This is my first upload to newgrounds.com and the first game I've ever created from scratch with Flash. My previous game design experience was creating graphics for ogreisland.com (the worlds first flash MMORPG). This game is not breaking new grounds, but I hope that you wont want the 30 minutes of your life back after playing it.
Vile Strobo is an action adventure game, has a fixed top down perspective (ie. Legend of Zelda - link to the past, Smash Tv, etc). You play as Dirk Cougar a special agent investigating Dr. Strobo, an engineer who's been up to no good. Main features of the game include sarcasm, irony, and demented geeky humor.
This is the full version of the game, the only difference from this version and the one on vilestrobo.com is the NG preloader and that you can't upload your score to the leaderboard. Other than that, it's the same game.
You should not drive or operate heavy machinery while playing Vile Strobo.
