Yeah, I pretty much agree. The news does nothing but distribute misery and everything bad about the world, it seems. People think that crime is going up, drugs are going up, school violence is going up, and that nobody elected is acting on anything they said they would do, when the opposite is true for each of these, simply because the news always sells negative stories. I object to the whole Christian joke though...but I do agree that a lot of those politicians give Christianity a bad name. It's small wonder that so many people hate us if all sorts of racial bigots are what we have representing us, especially when they act hypocritical of everything that God stands for. I hope people don't think all of us are that bad. So while I may not like that joke or some of the overtones and content, I still think that a lot of it was good. If people want to stop being depressed about everything that happened on Sept. 11th., stop watching the news!
