Adventure! Action! Romance! Randomness! All in the story of a man created from nothing, who sets off to find the meaning of his existence.
...Okay, it's not QUITE that deep. But it includes everything listed above!

W00T! TEN MONTHS IN THE MAKING AND THIS BUGGER IS FINALLY COMPLETE!! I've spent untold hours searching for and recording sounds, bursting veins over compression problems, and wrestling with my senile computer to bring my biggest project yet to YOU... Newgrounds.

at first i thought it was a preveiw or ad that shows your sponsor and a buncha companies.....whatever (kinda got off track there). Anyway i liked it when he left the weapon there like as a shrine or beacon of his victory. it was great. did you make it a while ago cuz i dont see animation like this anymore.

Author's Response:

I started all the way back in december of '06, when I had little experience in Flash and just wanted to see what it was capable of. As I've mentioned before, it started out as a test and ended up a full-blown project. Glad you liked it, and thanks for your review!

"very nice!!"

date: December 21, 2007

I liked it! Some of the sounds did need to be faded though, like the "wind" sound
when the guy gets out of the boat. Very nice job anyway! :)

True, looking back I realize I did go a little hard on RSQviper and was wrong in a couple places. But he just wanted to get back at me in his own sorry little way.
I'm glad you liked it!

"HORRIBLE"

date: November 28, 2007

I mean, you can't even animate a walk cycle on a stick figure? Come on...

And everything was for the most part very small and you STILL shape tweened the morphings. What a disgrace. You should at least not be lazy and, oh I don't know... actually DRAW the morphs? What a concept.

The sound was horrid. You don't know how to edit at all, No fading, just on/off sound.

This Flash was abysmal. I can't believe I watched the whole thing.

Next time animate something worth watching.

Author's Response:

Ah, now, do you really believe that, or are you just royally pissed at me for writing a scorching review of your movie? I'm guessing you're just biased against me and all of my work simply because I found your movie disgusting. Don't bother reviewing if you're just trying to get back at me.
Now, if you actually do think it sucks, that's fair enough. It's your opinion. But as I believe I explained in the comments, if you bothered to read them, much of this movie was made quite a long time ago, back when I was still somewhat of a noob at Flash. So you are correct. Many elements of the movie could have been better. The sound I don't think requires fading effects in most cases, but if there was one thing you think was really horrible, feel free to PM me and perhaps I'll fix it. Also, if I had wanted to animate the morphings, I would have. However, I thought the shape tweening was a good effect for what I was intending it to look like. Finally, the reason everything was so small was to hint at the ending. So you're free to think what you like about this movie, but don't give it a zero because you're mad at me. It's irrational and slightly immature.

Awesome! Glad you like it. And I agree with you, Whos are evil. Kankuro, on the other hand, is badass.

"I've always wondered"

date: November 19, 2007

I always think about little microscopic worlds and such. Or if we're living on a grain of salt or something. Nice work. The walking animation was very choppy, I still to this day can't animate walking. Its a very hard thing to do. Still, great graphics on the dragon. Nice backgrounds. Seemed like you just went with it though. You had this whole transformation thing, then it just gets into a story almost. Still, cool animation. I'll give you a four.

November 19, 2007

Author's Response:

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's true, the walking animation does kind of suck. That movie clip was made waay back in May. My animation has improved since then, as well as my storytelling abilities, which is why at the beginning, it was a random sequence of events, then eventually developed into an actual plot.
And I thought you should know, better stuff is coming!
