"Almost better than Arkanoid..."

Loved the graphics, and the physics program works well. And the way the paddle tips slightly when the ball hits the edge. Such details truly pay off in a game like this.

need some more sound effects, and visuals. Maybe some more speed or upgrades.

On the way - done in brick!2, but Brick!3 will be substantially better still - powerups already done.

"Disable html tags"

On ur HS disable your html tags some used a ton of <br>'s from the looks of it. All you hafto do is disable the submition of the chacters" <" or ">" and have it replace/cut it out with the php string substr_replace($string, '.') or u can have it count if there is any with substr_count($string,'<')
