Hordes of alien spaceships are invading the little ragdoll's planet. But you are not defenseless! Armed with dual chaingun-arms, you will have to destroy the invaders one after the other, while avoiding their crossfire. While tough, it is possible to beat the game (7 levels) and save earth.

Ragdoll Invaders is the evolution of my older flash game Ragdoll Avalanche. This time not only you have to dodge stuff, you can counterattack too!

FUN!

WOOT i am proud to say that i got to the final boss battle on lvl 7...albeit with 2 lives lol. i died soo fast. very hard game. the difficulty curve is fairly smooth, altho i did feele that the last lvl was a bit more of a jump. hated...so...much...grr! i agree that the ragdoll responded a bit more sluggish than waht would have been nice for a game like this. personally, i think the most annoying enemy, aside from the giant boss ufo were the bombers, raining explosive death down on you. i think that you should show signs on damage on the enemies, i.e. smoking slightly when damaged, on fire when very close to dieing, etc. also, being that the boss ufo is so big and hard to kill, a big firey fall to earth and giant firey explosion type death animation would be nice. like bassoid said, the hearts were difficult to catch on later lvls, what with damn near every sq. inch of screen filled with projectiles. overall, fun, but very, very hard.

Pwnage

I say this game was extremely creative and fun. I liked how you joined ragdoll and shooting. Well it was hard at first but after a couple tries I managed to finish the game and get the "Rotater Destructer" title or whatever it is =P. I liked this game a lot and it's really fun. There is no such thing as impossible to dodge... it's just that sometimes you get cornered and that can be extremely hard. I lost like 15 lives in the last boss but I managed to kill him. I think you did a really good job.

Lvl 7 51 Kills 0 lives

L33T HAXOR UBER KILLA God this gamr gets so hard past lvl 5 the bosses laser majorly pisses me off because its really hard to avoid in some circumstances and when is was firing all 3 off i got trapped in the rain of fire and got killed great game but the inertia was annoying nice physics engine

Excellent and Refreshing Idea.

I´ll start with the good points :
It was very fun to dodge zillions of pellets/lasers/bombs while shooting 2 machineguns, and the music fitted the action just fine, I don´t think the game got too repetitive. The difficulty curve was there, each lvl becomes a little harder than the previous one, just how it should be. With only 3 types of enemies, it´s the mix you do between them wich creates different type of "stress" to the player, so I actually think each lvl is very different from the previous one.
Now the bad :
1st of all, RANDOMNESS, My main complaint is the randomness of the game.
As you can´t really aim with the ragdoll, after lvl 3 the game becomes more of a "dodge to survive" and less of a "shooter", therefore, you can´t really predict when an enemy is going to die, and even if you can, there is a chance that the path you need to do to get the precious heart is covered with bullets... this sucks big time.
2nd The bomber :
I guess you tought that making it drop its bombs at different speeds would be cool, but in practice, it´s only annoying... because the "patterns" the bombs do, often get you cornered with the lasers/pellets, and there are sometimes when there is really nothing you can do... except die. Randomness here again.
3rd The movespeed/acceleration of the ragdoll.
I loved the system, don´t get me wrong, (i´m not even going to mention the fact that my keyboard kept beeping each time i pressed 3 keys at the same time, and that just happens in this game, I play cs all the time and never got this problem),
the problems begin when you have to face 3 different types of enemies, the ragdoll simply does not respond in time to some of the sittuations the game generates, wich is unfair and frustrating.

I know it´s only an opinion, but to make this game better (humble, respectful advice) :
Powerups Spawning : Maybe some invulnerabilty for 5seconds, doubledamage, additional speed ... you know...
Either fix the Bombers patterns or increase the ragdoll speed (just a bit).
Make the hearts fall with a parachute or something (give additional time to get them).

Good luck on making a good game, a better game , and GOOD WORK.

Addicting!

I love these Ragdoll games. All that flopping around makes it possible to dodge attacks that would be immpossible in a regular game. And there's something vaguly Matrix-esque about flying from one side of the screen to the other, firing automatic weapons at a target.

However, I think that one insta-kill weapon (green bombs) is enough. Maybe the orange balls should temporarily stun the ragdoll, knocking it around and making it vulnerable to other attacks. I say this because one of the last bosses is very tough to get past, with every attack plus a laser beam that always activates at the worst possible time >_<

My highest rank was "Legendary Legend-Man-Thing".

I'm thinking of making a movie tribute to this game. All I need are some Flash skills, and I'm golden!
