It's a huge honour to have won the first NG Tank Award.
To be honest, Brackenwood wouldn't be what it is today without the generosity of Newgrounds and the supportive community here.
Thanks everyone for the years of support :D

Waterlollies: Bitey's short-sighted arrogance lands him in a world of hurt.

If you have a slow computer, you will probably experience severe frame-dropping throughout some actionscripted particle scenes. Flash Player 9 required, fast computer and Safari browser (the best for viewing Flash movies) strongly recommended

edit: thanks for the Portal Awards and front page, and thanks everyone for the amazing score and all the great reviews!

For hardcore Brackenwood fans this will be nothing too new, apart from one or two new creatures. Anyone new to Brackenwood will find this is the most complete Brackenwood story so far. Still I have lots of work to do on my story skills so future Brackenwood movies will have greater depth.

Thanks to Newgrounds, this movie was scored professionally by Nathan McCree. He's the guy that did the music on the Tomb Raider games (!) so I'm grateful that he agreed to work on this with me. Thanks to him and Tom Fulp, this movie sounds amazing.

Thanks also to Michael Welsh for ironing out some actionscript bugs for me at the last minute!

Simply a leader in flash, time and time again.

Brackenwood Entertainment remains a strong leader in flash animation. Episode after episode, you've dealt amazing, top-notch material. Many, many kudos to you!

As great as expected

Your animation skills seem to grow from every bitey movie. The art (especially the landscape) is just awesome. I think that there are no movies on the whole internet that are more beautiful than yours!
Hope you´ll make another one!

best so far!

keep up the good work

Rated 4.5 / 5 stars

Huge dissapointment

Visually, Waterlollies is, as usual with your work, amazing.
The sounds are definatly vastly better than previous Brackenwood installments
The hype about Waterlollies was also definatly much bigger.
But unfortunatly It's just not as interesting as Littlefoot or The Yuyu. After all the delays and comments you made about parts A and B being releaseable without C I expected an epic tale with a thick plot and unexpected twists.... but they just weren't there. It felt short, very short. We see barely any of the loveable action that makes Bitey such an enjoyable character, having Bitey on a low is OK, but a whole animation where he's on a low is dissapointing.
Don't get me wrong, you are THE best flash artist there is, but your plots need work. Hopefully this is an issue that will be resolved with the Brackenwood movie (If it goes to cinema I will go 100 times, and If it goes stright to DVD I'll buy 20 copies)
Keep up the amazing work!

Thanks for the review and I agree with you on the pacing of this one. In this story the challenge was to negate Bitey's advantage (speed) yet quicken the pace for the climax. As we can see, the two kinda cancel each other out and in hindsight (from my hospital bed) I see that I could have made a much stronger ending.

I'll take this movie as a lesson learned in story writing.. the next one will be an improvement, storywise :)
Thanks again.
