Oh man I can't believe this hasn't been front paged yet, other movies that weren't as good as this one got front page quicker, I wonder whats taking so long, this deserves front page, this should also get Weekly Users Choice and Review Crew Pick, not just based on its good quality of flash, but also about the story, and the message it gives, and the feeling you get when you watch it.
The graphics were good, I liked them, they were unique and interesting, I liked how you drew the characters too, the hero of the story was pretty short, is that just your style of art for a grown man? Or was he actually a growing boy? Just curious about that, but regardless I still liked the idea. I like how the mountains were drawn, fantasy like, and huge, I don't think mountains are high enough for people to jump from them doing a stylish free fall, but hey these mountains are high enough, thats what I like about them, anything is possible in flash, speaking of that the free fall jump to mount the bird, one of the best scenes of the movie, especially as soon as he landed on the bird with the suspensful music playing as he began to stab it, awesome, nice selection of music in that part. :)
I like the revenge tactic of the movie, and the overall feeling that these birds are more than a nuisance and must be eradicated to extinction because they have a penchant for human flesh, the way you expressed the story and what was going on, also made me agree with your vision, these monstrious birds must die! Speaking of the music on the beginning scene, where it showed the main character stealthfully watching the birds, that music was also a great pick for the scene, very touching, it just went with it.
I liked how the weapons were made of gold, or so it seemed according to the shiny yellow color, a golden hunting dagger, and of course golden sling shot ball bearings, really cool, takes a break from the usual iron coloured, or silver coloured weapons, thanks.
You did a very good job, you just didn't give us the usual light-hearted Halloween scare, you gave us a great scenario story about justice and revenge, whats right, and what has to be done, and of course the light-hearted scare to go with it, a bit more scarier than that actually if you notice all of the realism here.. Now thats a nice Halloween gift, thanks so much for your hard work.
This should go beyond just a Halloween contest submission, if you want, expand this to a story, make a part 2, if you did I'd be one of the first ones to check it out, thanks again for all of your hard work, it really paid off, great and worthy submission you have going here.
It better get front page!
