EDIT: Thanks for 5th...again

Hi everyone! Long time since I submitted anything.

This is a "remake" if you will of my previous submission, The Pick of Destiny. After I got numerous reviews on that one requesting Tenacious D songs, I went ahead and made it. It was no easy thing though. I used 7 FULL Tenacious D songs. That means that the 5 minute songs are not cut to be shorter. That explains the file size.

Anyways here is a small lsit of the changes and upgrades from the last one:

- New engine
- You now hold down a key when the beat asks it.
- double beats
- Faster arrows (which means it's harder)
- Autosave function, so now if you unlock the secrets, you don't have to play all over again to get them.
- in-game replay button
- Secrets have been drastically improoved. I'm sure you guys will like them
- 1 new secret pick!

It took me about a month to make this, I have no idea why it took that long. I think it's much superior to it's predecessor. Well, that's about it. Enjoy the game, friends!

Fun, although easier... No E.L.O?

Tenacious D is a great band, despite only one album (which is great) and a movie (which is just groovy stoner type fun). The game is actually really fun. DDR is a format that I wasn't expecting, making it even more fun to play than another Guitar Hero Clone.

Some thoughts though:
- Hard was incredibly easy for me. I don't want to think I'm just "That Good", but maybe make it a little bit harder for any sequels.
- The "Fun Facts" and "Photo Gallery" were awsome, but if AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and The Electric Light Orchestra album covers were included, while not really haven't any appearance in the game, is this leading to a sequel idea? I'd love to DDR Electric Light Orchestra songs, actually.
- It was incredibly short. I guess it was large to work on, but the rest of the Tenacious D Back Catelog would be fun to play.

But, for all that, I still had fun. It was challenging, the songs were great and the secrets kind of made playing just a little bit more fantastic.

All in all, an 8 out of 10.

Review Time

The game was not all great as everyone made it out to be. Even though the notes did not match the arrows, it was fun and challenging, only to a point. The game was a bit buggy, to the point to where the arrows would not move at all. You should try to fix the calibration to the arrows, or even make a calibration control in the options menu.

Other than that, the game was okay, but once again, not great.

As a DDR player and an all-time Tenacious D (and rock) lover, for God's sake THANK YOU!
You made my evening. I completed it on the first try, except for the Hard mode on Strawberry pick, I'm getting back to it!

Well, the synching was terrible, but I have a crappy computer and I already knew the songs ^^
