Scrotum the Puppy The first great series to showcase on Newgrounds. Still a favorite!

Submitted by Cyprus, which normally isn't allowed, but for the sake of Scrotum 5, here it is. Commentary by Cyprus:

"Over a half decade ago Brian Beaton created the first great flash series ever to hit Newgrounds. After 4 amazing episodes that all were in the Top 50 Brian quit and left the flash world forever. But before he left for good he created a 5th episode and partially finished a 6th. He never submitted the movie to the portal. And after his website www.slitfinger.com was deleted in 2002 it became nearly impossible to find any of these episodes. It was lost in cyberspace. Until now. But here it is for any of you Newgrounders that love the history of the portal and love this amazing series. A half decade after its creation it has finally come home. Where it belongs. The Portal. In a time where flash animation was still in its infancy... Brian Beaton set the bar.

Ok, just so EVERYONE KNOWS. I am in NO way trying to take any credit for this what-so-ever! This movie has to be seen, and cant sit idley on a angelfire website that wont be around next month. This is a huge part of Newgrounds history. This was the "Tankmen" of the early 2000's. In 6 years if you found "Tankmen 4: the lost episode" after the author left the flash world... tell me you wouldnt put it on here. If Tom or anyone wants to take this off my account and put it fully on Brians PLEASE do.

Alright, enough babbling... Welcome home Scrotum!"

OMG! I <3 this series!

I remmember watching this series around the time it came out...it was amazing for its time! Brian Beaton totally set the bar. Up until just now, I had no idea there was a 5th episode (let alone a partial 6th) and had assumed it was totally disconuted.
I returned to see this after scolding some friends for having never seen/heard of Scrotum the Puppy and am quite pleasently surprised to see this episode. I feel a little cheated now, sadly, given it's cliffhanger (due to the incompletion of the 6th episode). The ending with the pimp in 4 was quite appropriate. Irregardless, loved it.
Brian Beaton, come back to us! You could totally make a movie out of this series if you wanted too!
Peace. :)

This is a great part of NG history, and i would have loved to see a six, sure this animation was still young but it was amazing and extremely entertaining. Thanks for the Submission.

Wow, finally, I got to watch Part 5!

I had only seen through the Donut Scene in around 01~02 before getting kicked out
of the Radio Shack I was watching it in, when I got home, Part 5 was gone.

An important piece of Flash History, equally as important as Mr. Fulp's groundbreaking work.

This series brought us many memorable lines, I have used since, like: "It's like throwing a hot dog down a hallway" or "Damn Bitch, You're more worked in than my Reebox!!". The long lost Bible verse of Revelations 99:13.This series also brought us a small dog having sex with a hooker, and an owner playing catch with grenades!

This series was cinematic, creative, and pushed the limits of the medium! Bullets shooting cigarettes out of the smoker's mouth, shattering liquor bottles. The death of the master, slowly sliding down the side of the doorframe, the visage of the hooker standing in the nightclub. Some of the elements of this series beats Hollywood.

The saddest part of Part 5 is that it leaves us with a cliffhanger. Perhaps someday Brian will return with a conclusion.
