In this game you participate in a Death tournament to free your country from the rule of an evil king. You must defeat 13 guardians of the king and the king himself. In each combat you and your opponent receive 7 tiles that represent various moves. Most of the moves require stamina, magic or both, so you must control their levels. The efficiency of the moves depends on your skills. You can improve your skills in the end of each level. You earn money in combats and can spend it to upgrade your armor and your sword or to increase your magic defense.

"need improvement... but well done"

date: June 18, 2009

the concept is quite similiar so game cube rpg game - "Baten Kaitos". what is interesting with the game (that you use card system as well) - is that you can create youre own deck, also when you lvl up you get more card is you hand and also you can do combo using more card in the same turn... dont know if that can help you find some improvement. but i sure that a think that those thing can help having more often nice card combo. overralll its a nicely made game ;) keep up the good work

"Has potential..."

A good concept here, and I had a lot of fun in the first few levels. Unfortunately when the battles get tougher you start to notice some of the issues.

Using cards is a novel concept, however it could work better than this. Too often I ended up restarting matches, only to wait until the cards fell right to win a match. There seems to be a little too much randomness in them - sometimes you will go an eternity without a heal, other times heals are all you seem to get. An improvement could be as simple as actually making discard useful by allowing you to choose as many cards as you want to discard.

Otherwise in general it's fun, and there is a nice tactical element to battles, it's just too bad it's overshadowed by the heavy random element.

"Am i unlucky or what?"

date: June 8, 2009

That game was fun, there's no mistakingit, exept some minor points that maybe you should check for a sequel. When i tried first, i took the wizard, but in only got Sword attack cards. i tought i was unlucky, so when i died shortly after, i Took the warrior, but i mostly got Magic attacks! And the shrewd, get mostly Remove curse (my record is 6 on 7). So in other words, i didn't got much useful cards, so i tried the discard command, and that's my biggest complaint. i'm not a heavy card games player, but i think you should be able to discard more than one tile per turns!

But overall Very nice game i had fun playing it!

"Couldn't beat it, but had fun trying!"

date: June 4, 2009

Very inovative. Good mix of chance and stratagy, though the chance part is a bit high. The only thing is I found it impossible to beat the flame guy due to the way my stats were, and not enough xp points to beef them up enough. And I pretty much had to have my stats the way they were in order to beat the other guys before him. Maybe make the flame guy a little less difficult. Other then that great game, I'll definently be playing again.
