Phoenix Wrong Spoofs on the Ace Attorney!
Author Comments
I'm back... with a vengeance.
After my first Phoenix Wrong was released back in March, I got a bunch of reviews and comments asking me to make more. So, semi-reluctantly, I did. It was shelved for several months due to my busy schedule; but lately I've had quite a bit of spare time, so I pulled this off the shelf and finished it.
Here are the sauces for the sounds used:
Scene 1: Sailor Moon (the infamous English dub theme)
Scene 2: PowerRangerYELLOW - Going down 2 Newgrounds
Scene 3: South Park - Ike's Wee Wee
Scene 4: Sesame Street - Rubber Duckie
Scene 5: Full Metal Jacket
Scene 6: Daphne & Celeste - UGLY
Scene 7: Shimajiro Toilet Training (YouTube rip)
Scene 8: Full Metal Jacket (again)
Scene 9: The Newbeats - Bread and Butter
Scene 10: Mjuuzik - I wanna have your panties
Scene 11: Group X - Pyussycathe Ho
Scene 12: O-Zone - Dragostea din Tei / Dilbert (the animated series)
Scene 13: Clock Crew file library (ampm uploaded it)
Enjoy! And don't let the Phoenix Wrong fun die!
EDIT: Wow! Daily second place AND front page! Thank you! I was not expecting this!

Meh. Average at best.
There have been some excellant Phoenix Wrongs in the past, unfortunatly this just wasn't one of them. No substance to it, just bland.

O_o
I just wanted to comment first on one of the reviews I saw after watching this.
"that means draw your own graphics. stealing the artwork directly from a videogame is the lowest any flash artist can stoop in order to gain popularity. if you're not skilled enough to draw things on your own, at least edit the sprites you use, or base it on a videogame that no one has done before. maintain some dignity, and realize that if you profit off the art and ideas of others its not anywhere near as rewarding as profiting off of your very own work."
While I wholeheartedly agree on originality in concept for a flash movie, the artwork itself isn't as big of a deal. Yeah, I realize that doing all your own art is a lot of hardwork; however, that doesn't make a flash more or less funny. You also have to realize that not everybody has the time or the resolve to start and finish a flash they drew entirely.
The problem with this flash is very simple. It's not that he used pre-existing graphics, it's just that it isn't very funny. It just references a bunch of played out stuff on an already played out concept. I'm all about adding something to a fad (look at YTMND), but when you add absolutely nothing and the end result is bland then your work should simply be tossed asside into mediocrity. I find it hard to believe this was put on the main page of the site, seeing as it just lacks comedy and originality.
REINVENT the fad if you choose to base it off of something pre-existing, otherwise you are wasting your time.
