I love ya, Mr. Fulp. Front Page, people! Now to watch my score go down a considerable amount.
I'm not dead! I am, in fact, the opposite, and rustier than ever. So to get back on the animation track, I have made a music video to hopefully get me motivated for some new shorts soon.
This is actually an entry to a movie contest on a forum I visit, and I have only just made the deadline.
Animation is a little different this time around. I used line and pencil tool, and instead of redrawing each frame, manipulated the lines to achieve movement. Enjoy.
Music by Frank SInatra.
Great work.. I seriously "lol'd", so to speak. I definitely did not see that coming. Great idea, and good execution. The motion was very smooth and the simplicity was great. A good, short, funny, movie.
Ok I just wanted to say something to you. Because I was reading through the other reviews and one of them said "predictable" Well thats plain horse shit because a lot of the humour was based on shock value because your using only a visual to get the joke across. I'd like to see that guy do better.
All the harsh negative criticism is only jealously cause they wish they were as talented. Oh man that ending I covered my mouth and laughed so hard. It was so unpredictable I was amazed. Keep it up!
It was good. No realy major flaws and a fair bit of humor. Only thing that I would do is maybe add some background to it.
Nice, quick, funny, stupid, light. That's how I love my humor! The background music was just precise, and the champagne bottle joke... kick ass! The only thing I would improve, are the transition between scenes. But everything else... 10's and 5's
It was really nice in that awkward cute old people way
but the end made me really sad =(
