"Kinda dumb"

The lack of text, or any real dialogue, combined with the shortness of the video and lack of subject matter makes this flash a little dumb. It would've been nice if it presented a real argument about the fallacies of the U.S.A. as the title implies.

"Needed more development"

You spoke about stereotypical in your authors comments so no need to point that out. You already acknowledge it.

What I would have really liked in your flash here would be more of a portrayal of why Americans are like that. There needs to be an explanation of why Americans are (stereotypically) fat and hateful people afraid of anything different then themselves. But also there has to be some truth to the statements you are making. After all, did we not elect GW Bush, not just once, but twice? The second time we were totally aware of what an idiot he is. So what does that say about Americans in general?

Until we get some regime change in America, myself, being American, I am pretty down on my own people. I was really wanting something a bit more satisfying here with some more commentary on exactly what is wrong with the country as a whole.

If you are interested in taking up a future project on the subject; areas to consider would be: consumerism over commonsense, my country right or wrong, support things blindly because it is politically correct, corporate controlled media spoon feeding the working class to keep them stupid and compliant. These are the things that reinforce the image of America as being 100% rednecked. That is exactly what I wanted to see in this flash.

7/10 for the effort and the honesty.

You know, the sort of small-minded, stereotyping, generalizations that you do come from the same exact source as racism and homophobia. Your obvious disdain for Americans is no worse than that at all.

Learn to judge people individually, and give them the benefit of the doubt. I live in America, and this sort of profiling is a little bit hurtful, and somewhat inaccurate. These gun-toting fat rednecks -do- exist, but it's not all Americans, not even a majority.

I'd rather hang out with a gun-toting redneck than you, I'd wager.
