This is my tribute to Madness. I tried to make the characters move like martial artists, so this was my attempt. I also deviated from the conventional style by using colored raster gfx. Thanks goes out to all the audio artists who contributed, Krinkels for the series, and the NG staff. Hope you enjoy.

This is not Maaaaaadnesssss!!!!!!

Really, i guess it's just me but as a madness fan i didn't really enjoy this one. The colors made it seem like an old arcade game

I like only the end(even if its weird since hank died and they hatefull enemies and tricky s rampage goes of) BUT SRSL..... A PENNIS?(pennis=dick)
one more think... why is tricky doing like someone is raping a bear?

I forgot I was watching a madness based movie within the first 10 seconds. Apparently flashy colours and a spiffy menu screen can win you anything. I've lost hope in any person who dubbed this number one.

I'm sorry but this went way to far from the main idea of the characters. If you make a tribute, make it so that the actual characters and style are the same. The 3 is for the amazing artwork, just not in the Madness style.

A crime against madness...

What in god's name was that supposed to be? You did not "deviate" from the conventional style, you ignored it. The characters looked, acted, and moved nothing like Madness characters. I can't even understand while you focused on Tricky instead of the series' actual Protagonist. Also, that "Hank" at the end... was that a chick? It friggin' looked like a chick. Why did you make Hank, an unkillable kinda-zombie mass-murdering badass, a chick?

The movie was graphically clashing, and fairly seizure-inducing. My eyes still hurt from all the bright flashing shinies. The weapons were nonsensical even for Madness, and this is a series with undead clowns and Improbability Drives. The whole thing looked like a fairly poorly-made side scrolling fighter game, which is bad since watching a video game is about 1/10th as entertaining as actually playing it.

My first reaction when seeing this movie was doubt as to whether or not you've actually seen the Madness Combat movies. This looks as if it were made by someone who's only seen a few tributes, and had someone sumarize the originals. I can honestly say that this could not possibly be any less like Madness.

All I can say as far as suggestions, is to not make Madness. If you're going to "deviate" this far, you're better off making something totally different. Don't try to make it look somewhat like madness, and don't call it Madness. Just do something original and it'll just seem that much better. This style of animating and Madness go together about as well as mud and paint thinner.

One last thing. Why the hell did you call it Deus Ex Machina? For those who don't know, Deus Ex Machina is an improbable and/or sudden apperance of something that saves the day. Did this movie even have one of those? Apart from the Female-Hank at the end, I mean.
