Fantastic addition

The game doesn't have a traditional leveling system. Instead you gain power by using skills. You can create an encounter just by holding the arrow key, making Cypher walking endlessly against a wall. Eventually an encounter will happen. Remember to keep track of the chitin and fairy bones you get. This means the pistol will gradually get stronger, until you make a steel or shock fist weapon.

Red boxes have medical kits, and things to build better equipment and weapons.

Having trouble with the big fish? Once the little fish is defeated and gobbled up, if the big fish opens all of its eyes, you have 2 rounds to shoot or heal up. On the 3rd round, it still does nothing, use this time to select shield.

Once you defeat the fish and go to the save point, it heals your hp and mp 100%. Exploit this and go back up the log and fight more critters. Use your shield skill a lot and level it up high. This will pay off big time.

For the big ape brutes (all 3 types), when their eyes flash red, be sure to select shield. Because the next attack will cause double damage.

As for that BOSS in the end, the machine, when you first get to it, don't be upset if you lose the first time, apparently its part of the story to lose. Just re-load and the story continues with dialogue between Cypher and the girl he rescues. And that ends Chapter 1.

As I mentioned on the prelude game, I think the monsters/bosses should have life bars to at least give a player a chance to make a fight strategy. Also, I am hoping that after 3 years your art has improved. A minor complaint. It just has that 2000 Flash cartoon appeal, which is ok, but I'm not asking for Mike Swain level of art either.

I hope this helps the next new player. I enjoyed this game.

...

wasnt all that great. i got attacked every step i took and my enemy attacked me twice every time. i didnt care for this at all. a weapons/armor seller in the first town would have been nice so you could get rid of those lousy pistols. i'll still give a 4 for the effort though.

great, but lag is unbearable..

very fun game, but the lag in the very beginning during the forest was very annoying. i absolutely love these kind of rpg-styled games. so a definite thumbs-up. :D but as i said, the lag is really the only problem.
