The Composer is an animation following the life cycle of a young boy to adulthood, who uses the purity of music to heal wounds, and inspire the hearts of others.

I sincerely hope you enjoy this, it has taken a lot of work.
Thanks Tom Fulp for your fantastic support, and Francine Louise for your voice talent

i had high hopes for this entry. sadly, they were not met.

animation and sound were beautiful. the problem was the story.

you characters are one dementional and under developed. from the start, we were expected to feel empathy for a character we don't know. it tugged on the heart strings to much, it expects the viewer to cry. it seems overly sentimental.

overall; plenty of stlye, no substance. try developing the characters a bit more, and please don't make them cry every 5 seconds, it takes away from the impact.

Cliché drivel, at best.

While the animation was admittedly superb, and the visuals were quite intriguing, I found the storyline of this flash to be its weakest aspect.

Essentially, you're taking all the GOOD GUY OUTSIDER abuse-redemption-fame storylines ( that we can all admit to having seen at least 15 times, on Newgrounds alone ), And compiled them into a single messy plot, held together by the fantastic graphical work.

I might have given "Composer" a higher score, had it not been for the insane overuse of crying as a plot deivce to express sadness. Aren't there other ways, ( less obvious, perhaps? ) to express human emotion, without resorting to the ol' fallback of crying at every instance of the world's injustice.

I mean, come on. I think we can all agree that this flash temporarily resides at spot #1, solely due to the visuals.

Animation--> well done.
My criticism: Too much crying... seriously.

Not really my thing

Doesn't really appeal to me, those beautiful animation skills. Keep on doing what your doing, great job.
