Possibly long-lost relatives of Shotgun Man, these trenchcoat-clad teams have much better things to do than shoot their classmates.
Robo Slug is back to battle the alien invaders! This all-time favourite side scroller shooter gets an upgrade with much improved controls... and not a moment too soon because the alien menace is badder and meaner than ever before. Fortunately Robo Slug 2 comes equipped with a spanking new set of weapons, packing more extreme firepower than you can shake a laser stick at! So take control of this new and improved mayhem machine to jump, duck, shoot, bomb ... and lay waste to all before you in this ridiculously addictive blast fest. Win back the countryside and put the hurt DOWN on those extra terrestrial marauders. The fate of the world is in your hands. Peace out!

Nice
I really liked this game. The graphics were stylish, I liked the pencil drawn look. The largest problem I had with it is the Weapons weren't really balanced. As soon as you could use the laser, all other weapons were obsolete. The saw was useless comparatively, the C4 was only good for blowing up the flame turrets, Flame Thrower projectiles weren't fast enough. The music was good, I especially liked the boss music. Only other thing to improve is the boss projectiles.

Very nice
It's quite different to the 1st game, but still nice. The 1st boss fight takes too long. Also, it would be nice to be able to continue game when killed.

Very authentic
I never played these kinds of games when I was younger, but I understand why they are among Tom Fulp's favorites! This has some of the most impressive graphics I have ever seen in a Newgrounds game! All of the enemies are designed fantastically and it is great to get powerups and blast everything in sight to pieces! The bosses all have great designs and the difficulty is at just the right level to become addictive. With all the pillars and everything, you really did create a world of your own! Easily one of the best things made by 2DPlay!
