This short tutorial will teach you how to make a trance bass and kick, and sidechain them. I worked hard on this, and it was tough to keep it under the limit!

You advance by clicking "play" in the corner, and pause it by clicking "stop" in the other corner!!

Enjoy, and tell me how I did!

Hey!

I really like this tutorial.

But what I was supposed to find out is;
How can I make the patterns into a song?
I've only downloaded a demoversion, does
the "song" only work at the full version?

And if not;
How do I do it?

Nav responds:

Nope, the only restriction in the demo is that you can't save your projects. You should use the "playlist" to arrange your patterns. Look it up in the manual, and save us both some time!

Thanks for liking it! :D

Very nice

I was especially watching for the sidechaining part but the kick part is awesome as well :D You learned me some things I would never have learned if it wasn't for this tutorial :D (don't know if that's correct english, but you get the point :D)

Thanks! :)

Nice, nice

It's a good tutorial, bery good actually. But at some points it goes a little too fast so you're not able to read the whole stuff trough.
Maybe add a back button? so you can viewx a certain part again.
anyway I like working with Fl-studio and I can see you know a thing or two about it.
keep it up !

lol nice cpu :P:P:P:P

I didnt find this usefull but it is fantastic for the audioly challenged. you did a great fantastic job of showing where and what the tools are, altho it would be better if you explaned why this works and what is happening it would help peple explore the wonders of fl studio more and make there own variations of this by automauting the base knob and volume :P makes nice breaks instead of the same ting over and over.

( if you know how) you should also show how to turn the fx's off incase some one wants to do the bass with out the kick and vice versa.

fantastic job, next time i get one of hundreds of pms asking for tips i will link to here, thanks for makeing my life that much easyer :P

Nav responds:

Hahaha, thanks! :)

I guess, but the video was a hassle to make... Flash animation is really drawn out! Its nice that you liked it!
