Drug Street Episode 1 - Featuring your funniest Sesame Street knock off characters: Billy Bird, Ernest, and Fudgy!

Episode 1: Who's yo daddy?!
(For more cartoons go here: www.kjmstudios.com)

In the first episode, Ernest finds out that the man he has thought was his father for all his years growing up is not his real father. Worst of all, he finds out on the Maury show. Ugh! Billy tries to help him feel a little better with the help of nuclear technologies. Also, Fudgy speaks his mind, and no one understands him (literally!), a Redneck can't get his children to stop calling him Gaylord, and Billy has a less than interesting encounter with Jim Carrey and Donald Trump!

Be sure to check out the older Drug Street shorts too! :D

Info: About 4 minutes long, 4.10 mbs, Made in Flash 5.

Author's Response:

As a matter of fact we do :D We are part of a new guest artist feature on Ebolaworld, we are currently the only featured ones. A couple weeks ago Sam put up the cartoon Prank Calls as our first feature. You can read about in the post about it on the ebolaworld blog here: http://www.ebolaworld.com/blog/2007/0 8/drug-street-prank-calls.html

i'm sure you worked pretty hard on this. i was confused at first. because there were no drugs. and i guess the jokes were funny. i just woke up so i didn't get many laughs out. but good job.

There was a definite contrast between the funny parts and the slow parts. In the future, work on the rhythm of the jokes so the high points and low points aren't as obvious. The humor was good though. I wouldn't mind watching more of these.

"eh...like said before, a few funny things..."

date: August 22, 2007

There were some funny parts, but for the most part it was pretty dull comedy wise, alot of the jokes were dragged out too long, which took away the funny, mainly the think with ernists dad, the jim carrey thing...well, pretty much all the jokes...on the other hand the animation and sound was pretty damn good.

Another thing is, why is this called drug street? it had nothing at all to do with drugs, now, the title misled me, so i was kinda pissed, then when i saw sesame street parody characters, i thought to myself "Finally! someone made a decent cartoon with all the sesame character's lives being ruined by drugs, or maybe they would be on a drug binge" but this was not the case and i was very disappointed...

i say, get a new writer, and change the series name, or make them all addicted to drugs, that be funny.

A cross between Family Guy and flash animation, it worked pretty well for me. The humor was a bit dull during some parts and the animations could use some polish, but overall it was great.
