It's only a sprite tutorial, please don't blam it because there are still not too many sprite tutorials on NewGrounds but there is on YouTube but, you guys arent on youTube are you?
So just don't blam this so that the nOObs can use it's stupid wisdom.
Oh yeah, the little guy is a picture I made of a pokemon guy.
EDIT:Ok, some others have been credited, PledgeOfMagic and ryoga1.
It makes them have a very slight blur, just remove the background color in a graphics program and save it on a transparent png.
needs to be way longer to make it. but you did a very good job on it

I just recently was searching through sprite tuts on newgrounds and your right there are not so many. But, if you are basing this towards n00bs then you should at least explain how you put them together. "then i make them move" is not accurate enough for people who dont know how to animate yet. All i really learned how to do is cut out the sprites.

I already knew how to "make them move" I just didn't understand how to get a picture of the sprite in its many positions into a flash film. good tutorial mate.
in the bit where is says "then click trace bitmap" it doesnt explain what numbers to put it (it 1 in both incase anyone didnt know), and the "and then make them move" didnt make much sense either
nOOb is rather degrading like "Your an idiot who knows nothing and will never learn anything cause your too stupid" Newb or newbie is really the proper term. But it's a nice tutorial. Real simple to understand.

There you have it, RDP's way of cutting and animating sprites, I could've gave the installer for fireworks mx 2004, but he didn't want it, he wanted to use his way of it, no point in telling someone they're wrong. ^_^
