Collect colour fragments on your colour Lens to accumulate abilities used to destroy colourless fragments. Try to restore colour pixels to your world!
This was my first Flash game ever. Graphics aren't fabtastic but was going for interesting gameplay.
YOU CAN REGAIN HEALTH BY ACQUIRING GREEN ENERGY.
Instructions in game tutorial.
(RED = Click, BLUE = SPACE, GREEN = AUTO, YELLOW = 'S', Mute = 'M', Pause = 'P')
Cheers!
(UPDATE: Apologies! Uploaded a debug version where colourless fragments drained all your life, instead of a portion. Should be fixed now.)

Fun
Great concept. I liked it a lot. One suggestion: when you miss a color pod, it shouldn't damage you, you should just miss out on the charge. When you're trying to get the whites and the colors, it's way too hard.

good stuff
Enjoyable for a while, interesting use of powerups too.
Could have been improved in a couple of areas (just my opinion):
- some subtle sound effects might have evoked a bit more feeling while playing. The song was good, so any effect should be muted and not too distracting.
- maybe just one continue, as dying and restarting currently gives me no urge to play it again.
- perhaps movement of the colourPod itself? I know it would change the gameplay quite substantially, but using the arrow keys or WSAD to move your colourPod around the screen might make things very interesting. It would avoid frustration when you have to shoot a colour pixel because there is a white one right behind it. this way, the pixels can be just moving randomly about the space, and not all traveling to the centre - allowing the player a bit more freedom.
Either way, these are just my thoughts, and in no way do i think the game is bad. I quite enjoyed my play through, and i think there's potential to make something really great.
Bless.

Arg..
It got way too hard way too quickly. I cleared 10,000, got a starfield of colored pixels, and a hellova lot of frustration. There needs to be multiple lives, and the "Keep your ass alive" measures need to be more effective.. Eh.

dear god how long
holy crap i got to 30,000+ pixels and just got bored with it i let myself die and the picture afterward still wasnt full. when the hell does the game end? the music got real repetative, the gmaeplay got way to easy i maxed out red blue green and was close to yellow. seriously is it possible to beat this?

Here's what I think
Gameplay: Good. It had me playing till i died....but I think 1 life is kinda harsh seeing as you can't recover until you obtain the green power up and you dont get that till like the 6th level and even then it doesn't get obtained fast. Powerups take wayyyyy to long to get obtained.... I also think that you shoud really get more than one life.
There should also be another kind of pixel that if it hits you On the lenz it will heal you. It wont increase any bar just heal you.
There should also be a rainbow ball that appears that will increase all of the bars by 1 (only from the bars that you have though.)
That's just what i think. and heres supah 5 for ya
