Star Wars A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

Before there were war-machines, genetically created warriors or supernatural samurai the fate of the universe rested upon a different breed of hero. They had no special powers, and most barely had any military training. They were few in number and had only make-shift weapons yet they were willing to stand up against the greatest force in the galaxy to protect their liberty. They were Rebels...

Perhaps my most complex film to-date, this film stands as a tribute to the true heroes of the SW universe. Please vote fairly based on skill & technique and not your views on Star Wars. Comments are always appreciated!

* Thanks all for Daily First! PS.. a 'little' SW knowledge helps. If you haven't seen movies 4-6, shame on you =) Also, please note: THIS IS NOT A COMMENTARY ON IRAQ. Do not confuse Rebels with Terrorist Insurgents. Think American Revolution 1770's

REBELS REPRESENT!

You don't need special powers to be courageous, something George Lucas moved FAR away from in the first trilogy. I'm glad you made such a great flash film. Awesome work.

CirrusEpix responds:

My point exactly. However, Lucas does kill off a whole lotta them in the course of the movies =)

Shak-Ti does survive btw

Overall Great movie.

Just as a side note Shak-Ti does survive after the 3rd movie. In the new star wars: force unleashed video game it is stated that Shak-Ti is in fact alive and the game takes place in between the 3rd and 4th movies. Your character is darth vader's secret apprentice and your mission is to hunt down the remaining jedi and it was stated that Shak-Ti makes an appearance.

omg, what?1

Did...did I just see the Slave, Boba and Jango Fett's ship?

CirrusEpix responds:

From what I have been told, the Slave 1 was not a unique ship design. In fact, there a plenty of them in the Xwing Alliance game. I threw it in there just because it was a neutral ship.

Beautiful.

The music was awesome, <3 Medal of Honor.

I agree with you man; with the exception of a few stray Naboo pilots in episode I, the prequel trilogy almost completely lacked any sort of PEOPLE participating in the war. It was all clones and robots. That was half of why it felt so empty.

/salute to you, and to the Rebels who may not have been recognizable -- but hell if they had serial numbers.

CirrusEpix responds:

I forgot about those pilots. Your right. I guess a close second could be the Utapans from ep3, but you never really see them fight.
