Hey this is my new movie. It's a music video for the very popular song: "Nothing Better" by The Postal Service.

This was originally for a film festival in March but I didn't finish by the deadline so I decided to spruce it up and submit it to Newgrounds. Most of the animation was done in the two weeks prior to the film festival deadline and the rest was on and off animating throughout the months that followed.

I encountered one of the most frustrating problems as an animator while making this movie. Midway through the movie my .fla got corrupted and I had to start over from scratch. I was so discouraged I was thinking about giving up on this movie but I eventually was able to complete it. I realized that it is much easier to animate when you already have the animation fresh in your mind. (ALWAYS KEEP A BACK-UP!)

My main focus of this animation was not the character animation itself but, rather, the camera movements and transitions. If you watch carefully, all the transitions in this movie are seamless from one scene to the next. I also learned a lot about custom easing when working on this project, and it will definitely be useful in my future animations to come.
