This is a 3 minute zombie short based on 28 Days/Weeks later. I know in those movies they aren't technically "zombies", but this is my movie and they are.

hmmmmmmm.......

On the fence with this one. I liked the action and the zombies but the whole thing was a little cliche as well as there being absolutly no charecter development. Why was the Schwarzeneger guy loading his shotgun with U.S.S.R. bullets?

Because hes cooler than you.

Not bad.

I love the music... Muse is an amazing band, and it fits the zombie genre perfectly, a la 28 Days/Weeks Later. The plot was your basic zombie flick, which was good as it was, and thankfully you didn't make an explanation. I did, however, find it odd that the lights in the city were still on, as if they were already locked up in a shack, that would probably mean the city was overrun by that point.

Sound: Music is amazing. Perfect timing and everything. Vocals weren't shabby except for the "Arnold"-ish character... I HATED his accent and styling in general. The gun sounds were spot on for a cartoon, though I might have made them a bit louder if you wanted a more "I'm in the movie, too" feel to it.

Graphics: Good for what it needed to be, and that was all it needed to be. The eyes were a little odd when they were infected, as I would think they'd be completely bloodshot or even bleeding... But other than that, good stuff. You even went to getting dust particles in the air, and I applaud that small detail.

I didn't like the ending, though, it was a bit cliche and forced... this should have just been the beginning, not the end. In fact, it felt like an intro to a larger movie. And seriously, I'd watch the larger movie if that were the case. Good work.

Most city lights are automatic.
They were bloodshot and bleeding.

Thanks alot for the good review!

Not a bad attempt

Wow,came back to a whole new Newgrounds...it's kinda weird...

Anyway, I was a bit disapointed that it was so short. Seems like if you turn away for a second you could miss it. Sounds odd but I laughed at the part where the male and female chars look at the "beautiful night sky" (it just seems a bit of a cliche, the calm before the storm IMHO).

A bit like Resi Evil and 28 Days Later, the music was 28 Days Later but the action was more Resi Evil/Dawn of the Dead.

Sound-Good Zombie sounds,I know how easy it is to make them sound like they are sitting on the pan but you managed to get away with it. The nightime wildtrack was a bit dodgy, starting and stopping at times. Gun sounds were also great.

Animation- For a short, fast paced piece it worked. It isn't easy to animate people.

It lacked a certain edge which makes it different, there is the gun chamber but (to me) it doesn't stand out that much. Seems like the start of the Night of the Living Dead but a little different.

Would be good if you could continue it, perhaps a prequel. Not a bad job though.

Gi-go responds:

I hear that alot but I havent seen NotLD.

Thanks
