Due to popular request, I've made the level 10 spiral weapon not spirally. I also reset the highscores because of this.
This game was made as a tribute to the popular "Geometry Wars." If you liked this game, you would definitely love "Geometry Wars" by Bizarre Creations.
Ever since I played "Geometry Wars," I've been dying for more. The game was just so addicting and fun. And since I'm not that great at it, I decided to make my own version (so I can make the highscores...). This game is definitely nothing compared to the original game, though. But I put some twists into it to make it unique.
Well, besides the fact that I can never get on the highscores, there is another reason why I made this game. It was a challenge, a competition, sort of. Coolio-Niato (a great Flash author) recently released an amazing rhythm game called RhythmBlaster. It's a great game and all, but I bet him that I could top it (:D). At first, this game was going to be like RhythmBlaster, except I got lazy and didn't want to sync music to this... So, I continued working on it until I made a bunch of enemies and weapons to play with. Yeah... My life story...
I hope you enjoy the game.

Cool!
The graphics and everything rocks but using the buttons to move around is too difficult... The analog sticks in the Xbox controller make the game much easier and "free." Maybe you should add support for USB controllers for people that have Xbox or any other controllers XD. That would rock!

Awesomeness
I really loved this flash version of Geometry Wars. I never played the real Geometry Wars, but this version was good enough really. All i can say is, make this a standalone game for download, and you are a winner.

Hmmm
after a little bit of time.. i noticed i had 90+ lives and bombs... how am i going to be able to send my schore... if it takes a good 30 mins to die.. if i let the game just run that is... other wise great game.
