Ok, I'm going to address the general atmosphere of reviews here.
I am well aware that most of the moves take some time to execute, and it is completely intentional. If they were all instant or fast then there wouldn't be and advantage to the fast shot, and the game wouldn't be much more than a 'chase the shadow' type affair. Instead you're going to have to work on timing and forward planning, or just use the fast shots. I had no problems after a bit of practice while testing the game. Please do not bring this up.
Also, this game is part of a competition. Characters between entries are supposed to look similar. All of this is drawn by me - nothing was stolen. Please do not be abusive of the review system, expert sleuthing skills or none.

Don't complain too much about the difficulty curve or anything - it's for kids! It's supposed to get a lot more challenging towards the end too so...
Controls are described in-game. There's a quality control button in the bottom corner if things are getting too slow / looking too messy.
Features six levels of opponents, varying AI and non - linear progression.
