This is a short teaser for the third episode of TL's Doom. I'm submiting it here because it will hardly be ever finished. There are lots of improvements here. For example, monsters will take more damage when shot in the head than when shot in the body, shooting legs or arms will cause minimum damage.
There are also keys, and you're not "on a rail" anymore. I hope you like it, if you do, I'll maybe finish it one day.

Pretty short, but otherwise, looking good.

Reminds me of the 1st time that I went through Doom 3. I was oftentimes caught unexpectedly while I was moving through (and sometimes got so spooked in the process that I actually jumped and self-disoriented my character's aim in the process). Oftentimes, I got some form of early warning, such as some sort of sound, a change in lighting, or even one of those "hallucionary cutscenes" that popped up throughout the game, but I was never sure of how soon something was going to lunge out at me. (There were two memorable scenes, one in the original campaign of Doom 3, the other in its expansion pack Resurrection of Evil, that were devoid of any action for an extended period of time, but still managed to keep me on my toes expecting an attack of some sort to happen at any moment due to the aforementioned effects.)

That flash demo looks nice. Looking forward to seeing more of this.

Has potential...

It's just a teaser, so I won't criticize it for being short. You did a good job creating a spooky atmosphere with simplistic graphics, but I hope you apply that same technique to the enemies int the final version. That guy was just out of place. Also, I didn't like the "shoot each other until one of you dies" battle system, although it's better than the "mash the space bar until your fingers fall off and still lose" battle system in a certain other Doom-themed game on this site...

.....finish it, but make a nice long game. You have all the ingrediants for a true gem here. Very cool.

Pretty sweet.

There is a definitely a lot of improvements that could be made on the final product, but that still looks decently promising.
