Before you even hint at it - that is not racist!
The characters are actually black, and not even human.
Anyway, I made this about 2 years ago as part of an early episode of a series I'm working on. The main character is called Dan [NO, it isn't me or any other avatar etc. just has the same name] He is a bounty hunter of sorts and he goes to the desert in search of monies. While there he picks up a 'companion', named Zink, who tags along.
Dan has a sword and a gun, Zink has shiny magic powers.
There is no actual voice acting in this animation, partly because I am a terrible voice actor and party because I have an old version of flash and sounds are never in sync when I play it through, so I'm afraid you'll have to do a bit of reading [OMFG effort!] but try and ignore it during the main fight, if you can, it's nothing but cheese.
[please don't give me any flash advice on the sound, I have done it several times over, read about 3 manuals and tutorials on sound etc, it just doesn't stay in sync] That's why I like making animations to music, you only need one sound clip and that's it for the whole thing.
Because I made this so very long ago [seriously, its at least 2 years old] movie clips and symbols were a mystery to me, as a result, it is quite a hefty file. My apologies.
Anywho, this is Dan and Zink in Kamillaro desert. The orange is slighly brighter than it should be because back in the early days of development, kamillaro was bright orange, corrupted or not. Speaking of which, they are only white and black because I basicly made this up as I went along. The two ??? people are henchmen sent by someone to get Dan. I won't disclose who.
The ';portable sword' is slightly redundant, but I don't care. Basicly, it's a sword with a retactable blade. The blade will only be extended while the user is focused and because of this, the user's focus is the only limit on the sword's length...I dunno, something like that.
some things in this cartoon don't make much sense, even for me. Like, why he drinks crystal potion [enhances strength and speed] and the gets out a gun? it's ludacris.
That reminds me. This kept crashing - a lot. Some parts of the fight scene I had to redo up to 4 times, because it is almost one big scene and it took up so much memory to run, so sometimes it would just crash, usually when I'm about 2 minutes from saving. Made me so angry.Grrrr!
