The Orphan: Part 3

Author Comments

After many long hours of meticulous work, we are proud to finally present Part 3 of "The Orphan", in which DrĂ¼gal continues his bleak adventure and makes some unsettling discoveries in and around his new home.

We would like to thank everyone who has stuck with us thus far and we hope that no-one took that whole "brief hiatus" thing too seriously. In any event, we have tentatively planned to have the fourth and final part completed for Halloween, although we might just go trick or treating instead. I guess we'll see. Until then we hope this will somewhat satisfy your need for dope flash movies.

the visual and audio is very interesting and keeps you in the mood I would dough have love to have a little bit more character feel as it's questionable how the man is as a person and it's a shame that it looks like this is Bill not be completed it could be really interested in seeing what's going on and why it's happening to him

This series is excellent as a whole but there should be a part 4 just to conclude this. I love the story and like to see a conclusion but since it's nearly been 10 years since this part came out, I'd doubt there ever will be an ending to this.

Your videos are great! Great theme, great concept, great story... I remember this one when I was 14... Which is exactly my point. Where did you guys go? Is Foolscap Productions a dead production now? It's kind of disappointing, you guys had me hooked on this project. Your level of creativity in this is better than most horror movies I've watched in my life so seeing it not being completed is a waste in my opinion. But don't worry, I still love and appreciate the current 3 parts of the film, they're excellent. It's just too bad The Orphan never got finished so we can all see what happened to poor Drugal.

This is great at creating a very tense atmosphere. As for the willing suspesion of disbelief, not so much. The protagonist does not have a shred of skepticism about the house? Really? It's not that believable to me. The great animation makes up for that though. I think the choice to make Drugal silent after part 1 was wise. The lack of dialogue adds to the suspense. It's such a shame that there will probably never be a conclusion due to the creator's inactivity, but in a way, the lack of finality is eerie too.

Also, the framed portrait of Ed Gein wasn't enough of a clue that something was horribly wrong (aside from the filth and disrepair)?

quite good

very good job!

But, it was a little short
