Hey Newgrounds.

Here's my first real flash, succeeding a very long break from animating and the horrid stick figure animations that came before that. But, this was made out of boredom and I doubt I would muster up the motivation to make another animation any time soon.
I tried to make the animation connect to the song, of course, but I also added in bits of symbolism for messages that have been floating around in my mind during the time I started this. I'm not going to give it away though, since it's always fun to see how different people see one thing.

Hell, it could just be about what it looks like at first glance, in its literal form.

I didn't like this that much at first, but it certainly got better. I think the most powerful part is at the end. You assume that it never really happened and it was just all in his imagination. I do wish that everything would turn out well for this homeless guy. The animation moves fluidly from start to finish. I especially liked the stratchy effects near the end.

We all wish to go on great adventures like this. I thought the song was very nice and set the mood well. Again, it's too bad the mood at the end isn't that hopeful. It's still nice hope for what it is. Congradulations on getting such a high rating.

made me happy

This flash had me smiling all the way through. Liked the song, the animation, everything. No constructive criticism here because even I, critic of everything and all, cannot think of any improvements that can be made to this flash. I really hope you make more!

1. great song

2. you know what? after watching this and Apex I'm sort of wondering why don't you try your hand at physical film making/hands-on animation. It would suit your imagery far better than the plastic limitations of flash. You've got a lot of scope.
