Hey Newgrounds.

Here's my first real flash, succeeding a very long break from animating and the horrid stick figure animations that came before that. But, this was made out of boredom and I doubt I would muster up the motivation to make another animation any time soon.
I tried to make the animation connect to the song, of course, but I also added in bits of symbolism for messages that have been floating around in my mind during the time I started this. I'm not going to give it away though, since it's always fun to see how different people see one thing.

Hell, it could just be about what it looks like at first glance, in its literal form.

A random romp with cardboard fishies to boot!

I didn't quite understand where everything was going in this dealy, but it was still a nice-looking flash nonetheless. And I liked how the guy ended up becoming a hobo in the final minute. Nice. Hehe.

I saw the ending and just let out a great big smile! This animation just clearly reminded me of Bretch's style of symbolism to display a message. It was a very dark comedy, which has one depressed and excited at the same time.

The animation was great! Fluent and visually expanding... you really displayed whatever message you wanted to show here.

Great work! I'll be looking for future work from you!

I'am pretty good on here I go. (Spoiler Alert!!!)

(Spoiler Alert!!!)

At the start with boat sailing in the cardboard sea (which is foreshadowing what the man is day dreaming about), the guy on the boat dives into the sea and drowns. Things fade from dark to light(usaul in a death experience), then coughs up a piece of the cardboard sea and turns in to a house.(which might mean that his fantasy isn't over yet, and also on the bottom right it says "this side up" meaning his life could actual be upside down as well. Plus foreshadowing that he lives with his cardboardbox) Then things slowly get real, when the water drop is shown, and then shows his cardboard house again but gets wased away by a wave(Washing away the thought), Then shows him swimming to land, and when he reaches the shore his mind starts wonder where he is what time it is(Knowing that he is lost) Then he lays doen on the palm tree for the whole day(foreshadowing what the man was thinking about all this time), then fades to a man smiling, a "hobo" to be exact. Then the camera drifts away knowing that it's done it's work by showing us the imagination and the way this person lives(Even though all hobo don't think this way.), but is a good way to know that we can't belive things right off the bat, because some things will always have a deeper meaning to what the appear. A hobo to be exact in this flash.

Great first flash by the I really enjoyed it !!! I know I left out alot more symbolism but I wanted to say all stuff I could remember. Just a skim of it and am I close to what you were thinking?

Pure Amazing

Even if I don't know what the hell is the Unicorns, I still love this piece of art, because its something like a subliminal message being sent to your mind and you probably don't even know that you're being mind controlled basically while enjoying the nice pictures. Basicly its like a dream of a hobo living on a island with a soggy cardboard box with one coconut tree. :D
