Welcome to |>!, a rhythm game of great explosiveness. Some notes clarifying the game:
-The ground is drawn in time to the music, using AS3's new computeSpectrum() function.
- You cannot move your crosshair left and right because that would defeat the purpose of being synced to music.
- Remember, you need to HOLD DOWN the spacebar when a long enemy appears!
- I just noticed that Tatsu-Takahashi's track "In Your Face!" is in just about EVERY Rock Out submission on NG. Hopefully you won't mind it being in this one too.
This is the first game I have made using AS3 and Flash CS3. I spent alot of time on it, so please rate fairly. Hope you enjoy it!

AGH.
Good, but I get ticked off when I die. There should be difficulty levels.

....
a good game, though the music that plays while you are speeding up is better than thereal music. And the long bombs on the second song are highly bugged. Half the time they do not explode even if you target exactly right, and they sometimes have a hidden part at the end that requires an extra shot that you cannot see.
Thanks for your review! I agree that the game requires several improvements.

good job just not my style
The game was a good idea. But the player does not have enough freedom with the aiming. Only being able to move up and down made close ones very hard to hit, and getting hit by one could mean getting hit by many more bombs, without the chance to get them because they get past the aiming cursor after each explosion multiple times. The music was a little poor in my opinion, but everyone has their own taste in music. It was a generally good idea, and anyone who likes a challenge should enjoy the game, but personally it not for me. Try to allow a little more freedom in the next game you make.
Thanks for your review!

no doubt the...
worst rhythm game ever!!
the thing that annoyed me the most was when your gun over heated (which is impossible to avoid even if you play the song perfectly) the horribly chosen music is interupted by even worse music!!!
and even if that wasn't a problem the gameplay was horrible anyway!
Ok.
Thanks for your feedback.
