** NOTE: There's a weird issue with the preloader that I'm working on, so if you're loading this for the first time it may take a little while before you see something pop up.

Hope you enjoy this, everyone! It's been a solid 2 and a half months of work. The notes are perfectly synced with a guitar strum in the selected song, just like Guitar Hero! If you get good enough, you should be able to play this with your eyes closed!

If you see any bugs, send me a private message ASAP! DON'T tell me in a review of the game! Thanks!

THANK YOU to Rocker206, Metaljonus and Bad-Man-incorporated for the awesome music! Sooo metal...

*************
Instructions:
A S D F G keys control the strings.
Hold a string to grind a sustained note with a tail.

K or L keys pluck the strings.

Remember, the higher the streak, the more points you get per strum. Opponents get harder as you move along.

Great game, but still needs some work

You've created a great flash here, but I think the storyline needs a bit of work, it's still a bit shaky. Also, I found a glitch where if you just hold down all five keys, then strum when the first note comes, then just hold down the strum key along with the other five keys, then you will get every note without even trying.

mongoid responds:

Wow... nice glitch... BUT I TOLD YOU TO SEND BUGS TO ME OVER PM! Hahaha...

Hmmm, not sure how I can fix that one so quickly. I have it set to check for keyboard events when you strum the strings. Hmmmm...

Glad you liked the game!

Good...

Great flash, there is just one complaint. The controls are TERRIBLY touchy. I found myself nearly failing songs just because the note was just a tiny bit off. Just improve this, and you have an awesome flash.

mongoid responds:

Fair enough. I've decreased the touchiness. :-D

Good stuff.

What this game provided, was a nice, more basic and enjoyable game compared to guitar hero. The graphics were good, and did the job they were meant to do. The gameplay was also quite fun and it was quite original too. A nice combination. Good work.
