(Update Aug. 14, 2008) A new song has been added in place of TT-In Your Face. Sorry for the inconvenience. I also added a retry button so you don't have to wait for your songs to load over and over again! Hope you enjoy the new song!

(Update: Oct. 07) WOW! 50k views! I'm very impressed on the impact of this game. You better believe that a sequel is in the making. Thanks go to Newgrounds viewers and musicians!

EDIT: Added an extra settings option, synchronization. Now you can fine tune your notes to the beat if the notes are not synchronized!

!!!TIP!!! Hold the keyboard like a guitar, the "NUMBER KEYS" are the frets, the "BACKSPACE" key is the strum bar. Use one hand to play the frets and the other to play the strum bar. Make sure you press the backspace key and the corresponding fret to play the note. Controls can be changed in the settings menu. If you're having a hard time playing, it will get easier if you practice. :)

Ive been dying to get my hands on Guitar Hero I or II, and this is a nice pacifier until then. ^_^

Although, you could have included some of the songs from GH, such as Jordan (Probably my favorite GH song.)

Its alright

I'm a lefty so I couldn't hold it like a guitar.. But however just leaving the keyboard on my desk worked fine... But since I couldnt hold it like a guitar I think a handicap like using the 4 arrows.. Good idea.. definately deserves some credit, other games lately are remakes or just total crap.

Best game in a long time

Listen, you can play a million shooters and a million adventure games and some of them can be great, but when it comes right down to it its the same objective and the same gameplay. This game however, Flash Hero takes a good idea (guitar hero) and remakes it in a fun creative ~never before seen way~. I applaud you for thinking this up, the holding the keyboard like a guitar is so fun. Give yourself a pat on the back man, you've earned it

This was really good, I had fun, except I have a laptop, so I couldn't play like your supposed to. It was still really fun though.

Well, the graphics from from menus and stuff were good, and they looked like the real game, but when you're actually playing I found that background and the notes weren't that great. Maybe you could improve those graphics? But, the graphics do get the job done.

The idea wasn't original, since you're making an excellent flash remake of Guitar Hero, but it was superbly executed nonetheless.

I liked most of the songs, they were all pretty good. I liked how you dimmed the sound when you missed a note, it was a good detail.

No violence, sadly.

It's a game, thusly quite interactive. If only I could play it like a guitar. That looks fun.

The idea of a keyboard guitar is funny to me.

So, this was an excellent game, and well, there isn't much I can say to improve on, except for the play graphics.

By far the BEST one so far

This is just as addicting as the regular guitar hero, it's neat how everything is set up, though Ratio of Chaos is a sonvabitch.

I recommend however, that you make another difficulty, like evil or insane or very hard. Having 6 notes on hard is sort of pushing it.

And the guy below me... what in sweet sassy fuck are you talking about? I was able to beat the whole game without any difficulty. It's not his fault you fail at the game. And you DO have to adjust so that you're holding the keyboard, did you pay any attention to the tutorial?
