BRAND NEW DETECTIVE GRIMOIRE NOW IN DEVELOPMENT! GO CHECK IT OUT:
A whole host of characters, detailed locations and a fiendish mystery to solve. Can you piece together the clues and discover the truth?
-Dim & Tom
Definetely good quality stuff !
Wow I'm impressed. You definetely put a lot of work in this (I checked the "making of" feature) and it shows! I have to say that it felt more about clicking everything you could then solving a mystery. However the story, while not the most original I ever read, was very solid and it really entertained me so good job for that. The only annoying thing was the grunts. Take those out for the next one in the series.
Because it would be a real shame if you don't make a series!
By the way I was missing two clues but I completed the game ... (it was the one after the clown's nose and the third before last one before the fallen marker box I think)
I don't know if it was just me, but the notes really didnt help me that much.
Oh and seriously the ending was REALLY cool I loved how the police officer asked questions and all that I just missed the last one.
Great job man! I'm really looking forward to another one like that! Just make it a tiny bit harder ;) but the story was good no problem with that
Awesome Mystery Game
I really enjoyed this game, the atmosphere was perfect, the music was really creepy in a cool way.
The interactivity was good, keeping notes inside the game is helpful because the text was long but interesting to read. The method of watching the suspects eyes was good, a little on the easy side, but a good addition.
I managed to finish this game, but it took me about an hour actually because I made sure I had all of the clues and stuff.
Great game, and I would like to see more of Detective Grimoire.
But what happened to the little girl?
Seriously. Great flash, though.
so much like pheniox wright...
yet soooooo different i love games like these and out of all the ones ive played (including consoles) this one was one of the top 5
but next time try to make it harder
and make them stop grunting like a bunch of retards
those are the only flaws i could find
also is it just me or does detective grimore look like Dim?
P.S. make a decline of video gaming 4 PRETTY PLEASE!
pretty awesome (gameplay/storyline that is)
this game is great.. absolutely great. It is a must play.
Graphics: Every time I pressed a topic or something, the character or whatever character the topic showed was always in the same pose. I think each character had like only 3 poses each.
HOWEVER; in the credits, the anime like characters were AWESOME .. i thought it was really funny (hence the humor rating)
Style: This deserves a ten because this game makes you really think it through (not as much as a real case tho because everytime u got a clue or suspect was innocent or something .. it was marked. Making the case EASIER to solve...It was like "i can't wait to press everything available there until all but one is marked." You know?
Sound: The music was pretty annoying. It would keep looping. (repeating) However, it was still a great choice to set the mood for the crime scene, or the game overall.
Violence: There was no violence except for the blood on the mirror and when it said that Pete stabbed Hugh in the back. Still.. it got a 6.
Interactivity: I'm not really clear on the meaning of this word. But a different review gave it an 8, and so did i. Still, just ignore it.
Humor: Like I said before, the anime-like characters at the credits were funny (and they were dancing too!) and I thought it was humorous. It got a 7.
Still...I liked this game very much. Considering the fact that in the future I plan to join the FBI or SWAT. Not very much a detective, but I still fairly hate criminals and think they should not be on the loose. (although this is only a game.) Great game! Good job!
